Just letting you know, the Australian time will be 10:00 PM because we just started our daylight saving which means we're 2 hours ahead of Korea. So, as the match is played at 8:00PM Korea time, it will be 10:00PM for Australia and not 9:00.

    I'm thinking the same ...
There is this fetishism about Park CY that i don't understand.

He doesn't score, but is still starting, and alone in front..
I really hope Jo will swap him against Yoo BS if he doesn't score during the game. This is nonsense.

Calling him up last month was a mystery in the first place.

Don't be dissin' on coach Cho's skills, he has a World Cup goal to his name! An own goal, that is...

But seriously, yeah, I did hear that he really was a very good player back in the day.

Because as unthrilling as PCY is at the moment not scoring in Ligue Un, he's fast as heck and he's the best we've got.

That's a sucky but true fact.

PCY has scored in the 30 minutes he's been in the striker role. Nevertheless, imo he's ideally suited as the supporting striker. Perhaps if Son were fully healthy... But if you're going to have a sole striker, I can't think of a better choice for now.

    Son Heung-min isn't a traditional striker either.

    no prediction ?

i expect another tight game with lots of flares on both side without any end product.

a goal each max. 1-0 either way or 1-1 draw.

Well Yoo BS is scoring a lot more than Park CY these days.
I really hope he's not going to be introduced to the pitch for 5 small minutes at the end of the game, that would be a pity.

Being fast is nice, but if you can't score its useless. A FW has to score, its his job. I don't think Par CY is the best Korea has right now.

In the past few international games, the young boys like Lee SR have showed more efficiency in a smaller amount of playing time. He keeps shooting on the keeper on 1 on 1's, or even worse, missing the target.

Its frustrating. I really hope Jo is going to try another combination for attacking.

I like Park CY fine as a forward, but not as a LONE forward. IMO he really need to partner another proficient forward and play behind him as support to get the best qualities out of him. Problem is that neither Korean NT or Monaco are willing to play with 2 up front...

Thats the problem here... Because Park CY is terrific as a SA, great passing skill and good vision of the game.

Agreed... but sadly most of the top Korean players are pretty deferential in style. I think Son is the most direct of all the candidates so far. We'll see in four years I guess.

    Source ?

Its not so bad. There's Yoon Bitgaram and Koo Ja-Cheol waiting for their chances.
