    I read on a Korean website that right now, Korea's elite dream team consists of:

    Lee Woon Jae (GK)
    Kim Tae Young (D)
    Hong Myung Bo (D)
    Choi Jin Cheul (D)
    Lee Young Pyo (MF)
    Song Chong Gug (MF)
    Kim Nam Il (MF)
    Yoon Sang Chul (MF)
    Park Ji Sung (MF/F)
    Ahn Jung Hwan (MF/F)
    Seol Ki Hyeon (F)

    My question is....would you say this is Asia's dream team? That is, would you substitute anyone from the Japanese or Chinese team into this lineup? (keeping in mind the type and style of each player)

    U.S.
    I'd say of all the Japanese players, Ina has the biggest possibility.

    Kim Nam-il is overrated. Sure he's a good defender and a strong body in the middle, but he's an average passer or creator of offense at best. Kim can't do every thing that someone like Yoo Sang-chul can do (who plays a similar position). I think these post-World Cup N.I. Kim lovefest is messing him up. All these commercials and stupid fan meeting bullcrap is ruining his talent. i hope Hiddink rescues him from this backwater crap.

    good point... but Yoo sang cheol can't pass either. Also, remember than Kim Nam-Il was Korean soccer fan's public enemy number one just before the gold cup. He became that to a hero in three month because he was useful to the korean national team.

    When Kim was asked once in an interview, "What would you be doing now if it wasn't for soccer?" he replied "I would be a jopok (Korean mobster)". It is widely known that Kim was nothing but trouble during his teenage years.. A lot of people disliked him for that

    Kim NI --> Inamoto
    Ahn --> Ono/Nakata

    Kim NI and Inamoto are different types of players, I'd say...and I think Nakata plays more like a Song jong-gug

    We have some very good attackers/ attacking midfielders in Korean NT, but we still lack defensive players.
    I say let talented kids play as defenders first from now on.
