http://www.fcaugsburg.de/cms/website.php?id=/index/aktuell/news/data18763.htm augsburg congratulates Koo and they say he will leave for augsburg thursday. he will miss the DFB Cup match on the 17th
I'm still disgusted by the tackle made on LCY...it was criminal. Tom Miller should be banned from playing football.
Anyone else believe that if Koo refines his technique and improve his physique this upcoming season, he has a serious chance of a future move to the likes of AC Milan, Dortmund, Bayern? He impressed me so much with his leadership, decision-making, composure, concentration, and work-rate/tenacity.. I have huge hopes for this guy. A lot of people (especially non-Koreans and Brits) are assuming that either KSY, PCY, KBK, or LCY is going to be the most successful and respected KNT player after PJS, but come five years, it's going to be KJC with the most amount of success.
from what i saw in the tournament, Koo wasn't getting bullied out there. I really like the way he uses his body to shield the ball on offense and defense. and a lot of his play is one-touch or using PJS-esque turns so he's more reliant upon agility than strength that being said... i'm sure a few pounds of muscle won't hurt when he tries to intimidate the ref
i think its more being able to play bulldog style over the course of a season like he did in the olympics and not get subbed out so often.
HJH is following KJC to Germany where he will spend time recovering from his injury http://kr.sports.yahoo.com/news/홍정호-재활차-구자철과-함께-독일行-022256665--sow.html But this line made me almost throw up is it really that bad? goddammit he was having such a good season...
Does it say that he's getting the blood platelet therapy in Germany under the doctor that Kobe went to and now Bynum? Then again, we're supposed to have one of the best blood platelet therapy facilities too that NFL players come to get treated for... Hmmm.... [Edit - nope, no mention of that... but I wouldn't doubt it...] After this type of injury to HJH, it really seems more than likely that he'll get an exemption. Recovery sucks tho...
