Curiously, Fotmob and Sofascore both rated him as OM's worst field player, and WhoScored has him tied for third worst.

That's bizarre. He must not get "credit" for having won what should have been a penalty from the algorithm. He was one of the top 2-3 players on OM for sure. The announcers were raving about him.

Probably due to touches and passes completed. He wasnt set up to be a linkup player. He was pure attacker and creator. And he was often isolated.

Yep just watched whole match on replay and thought he played well. Didn't get the ball enough but that ain't his fault. He loves to take people on and it's fun as hell to watch him go end line

Taking 2-3 people on 1 on 2/3 usually does not end well. Konrad still needs some help from the other OM players to be successful.

His turn of pace is impressive. Little heavy on the touch to the guy who made the assist, but regardless it connected. Kid is like Weah, single-minded in attack. Defending is not in their vocabulary.

Saliba, Payet and Konrad, the best players with scores of 6/10

Would hate to face him coming in fresh at around 60-70 minutes. Really nice weapon for Gregg to have.

With Aaronson, KDLF, and Weah, we have real depth behind Reyna and Pulisic on the wings. Dest can also play out there depending on the system. Pretty amazing.

So much so that Reyna can move inside and the US attack gets even more teeth. Evolution. We're watching it.

Reyna needs to be playing in the middle. He is finally getting the chance at BVB to play there and it has been very good so far. I expect big things from him this season.... I think he could be on his way to being the best attacking player the US has ever seen. He is just that talented. Still has a ways to go... but if there is a guy made to be a 10 it is Reyna.

I expect Konrad to push for starting on the wing w/ CP. He has the chance to get a lot of assists this season. I really love his direct approach. Finally... intl quality depth. Wow... so much talent going to Europe. The future looks bright.

It'll be interesting as Aaronson will make a strong case as well. I think CP and Konrad are both better on left so that might not be the ideal pairing.

It seems that we would move Pulisic to the right... I mean, if Pulisic can play right wing back, then he can play right wing... nevertheless, I’ve not seen any indicators that Pulisic wouldn’t be just as effective on the right as on the left. Konrad, on the other hand, might (or might not) be more specialized as a left winger.

I believe statistically Pulisic has been more productive on the left in his club career than on the right.

He can certainly play both sides pretty effectively and I'm not opposed to moving him on the right, but (If Konrad continues his ascent) the coaching staff will just have to weigh that with whether or not that's worth getting Konrad on the field over one of our normal RW's.

If KDLF is a 9/10 at LW and so is Pulisic, but Pulisic is 8/10 at RW while KDLF only 6/10 there, the vast majority will put CP on the right.

Mind you, there'd be frequent interchanges so that both, but especially KDLF, can cut inside and open up the pitch for passes, combinations or curling shots into the far corner

Konrad de la Fuente has also gotten some attention on this side of the pond from the Defector in their current series on US Soccer players (Week #1 was Sargent).
