He wants the 45 because he is a high caliber player.

But will he make the 18 or have they expanded to a larger bench?

He seems to be getting hyped by the club.

Gotta hope that Barca finds their form and scores several by sub-time so that Konrad has a chance to get on the pitch. If he gets any minutes with the game in question then it probably goes beyond hype... <crossing-fingers>.

On a related note... has there ever been another US player that has their 1st name listed officially on a roster?

If an American plays for Barcelona, in a Champions League game, In the round of 16 then it probably goes beyond hype?

    Pulisic has ruined our expectations.

Wow, indeed, I'm picturing general confusion whenever someone shouts "cuarenta y cinco."

On the final squad, these are the 4 primary FW's/ Wingers: Messi, Suarez, Griezmann, Fati and then Konrad for 5th.

Junior might be moved up to LW and/or Puig could play the wing as well.

    Could be 5th for FW

    could be 7th for Winger.

Really depends on how good he was in training.

Those are nicknames though, rather than first names.

Both are shortened versions of their first names. Seems like a bit of a nit-pick.

I’ll be watching this match tomorrow over the Chelsea game. My hope is that Barcelona is 2 or 3 goals ahead on aggregate, and Konrad gets 15-20 minutes of time.

Knowing just how good Barcelona can be on their good day, there is at least a small chance this will happen.

Wonder if Konrad's improvement may see him get loaned out to either a lower La Liga side or a 2ne level side.

This is just spit balling but with Emerson Royal being a commodity and Barca maybe wanting to sell and break that loan early wonder if a player like Konrad could be used as collateral to end the loan early for Betis.

Again this isnt a rumor or anythint just a possible idea... 4specially when you consider that Barca has to balance books
