Ronald Koeman has warned for too high expectations. "People expect a lot of us for next season. You have to be real about it too. First we still have to qualify for the CL. The last steps towards the top are usually harder than the first"

I don't think they'll have the same success in the CL as they did this past season either

it will depend on the draw, if they qualify. an ez first group could definitely let ajax find their rhythm and all that. there are a bunch of variables that will affect their fate. i think ajax could do better than this yr, but could just as easily go out early.

and i just want the opinion of someone like AFCA who watches Ajax regulary. during their whole run did it seem like they were playing above themselves and kind of beeing lucky (one hit wonders)?
when i got to see them play it always seemed to me the chemistry/effort leveled out the skill level and they deserved to draw or win every match that they did.

A new season... so it's really hard to say. I guess this is the year they have to prove last year wasn't an accident. If the team stays together I think they will.
But it depends on so much things... there's no telling just yet.
