Player's Union, if there is one in a functional capacity, needs to step up and be the voice of the players
I don't think Hong Myung-bo is suitable for KNT. Does he use the fullbacks often? Our fullbacks aren't even that great.
Wow. This is somehow a surprise giving the talent Korea had in recent years and also the simple fact that they are an AFC member.
Not too bothered by it. Not World Cup level yet, so its really just the Asian Cup. But its historically not a cup we prioritized, specifically due to military exemptions coming with the Olympics or Asian Games. I myself, if I had to pick my order of which tournaments I'd be happiest to win: 1) World Cup, 2) Olympics, 3) Asian Games / Asian Cup (tie for now but if ever there's a Korean superstar needing an exemption soon would prioritize the games!).... With #2 of course really really annoying me as the Olympics are about to start...
Bento helped push the team into 2024. Hong Myungbo taking us back to 2014. I will not follow the KNT this cycle. That way I can watch us stumble out of the next world cup group stages without any emotional attachment or expectation.
because it is not "fair" for other sports. you will need to give exemptions to all other players competing for other tournaments.
Some of the excerpts in the book. "I’ve heard that even Pep Guardiola leaves one-third of tactics to his players. Jurgen Klinsmann also emphasized autonomy, leaving a legacy of it in South Korea." "No sports federation demands the resignation of its president over poor national team performance. It seems that the KFA president often becomes a scapegoat." "If I were to grade myself, I would give myself an 8 out of 10."
rumor has it that south korea has received an invitation from the north american confederation to take part in the gold cup 2025. sorry i didn't know where to post this info.
Corrupt bastard pandering to fellow corrupt bastard. Guess who is in Paris while @theKFA didn't even qualify for @Paris2024? #ChungMonggyu! Never passes up an opportunity to suck up to Gianni Infantino. pic.twitter.com/95u2SxEggF— Fighting Stripes Football (@FSFootball_) August 7, 2024
I think the white background was chosen to make him look holy and clean, but having it all white makes it look like a free handbook for his seminar.
Would be a good gauge before 2026 WC... Hope they accept the invitation... Hope I can go to some of the games
