Kim Chi-woo has a ligament tear in his ankle. Horrible news. My guess is that he'll be out for at least 3~5 months unless it's a partial tear. My prayers are with him. Really thought this would be his breakout year.
yeah, that is horrible news. I really like this kid. Sucks for Jeonnam, i think thats his k-league team, 'cause he was a huge part of their backline.
Yea I remember watching him play against Pohang in the second leg of the FA Cup final last year and how well he played. Looked to me like he was the team. He was the only Korean player who played well for his country and club last year.
Park Chu Young is out with a 2-3 week injury sustaining a slight tear on his thigh muscles and will obviously sit the LA Galaxy out. Fcuk, this guy is always injured, I'm beginning to think he's like Saha. Fcuking Frail..... I remember he sat out the match against Man utd when they came to Seoul.. Fcuk, he's missing so many great opportunities to play against good opposition and prove himself. He needs to control his condition better if he wants to be a top class player.
They're expecting Kim Chi-woo to be back at the end of this month. http://sports.chosun.com/news/ntype2.htm?ut=1&name=/news/sports/200803/20080305/83e74109.htm Wow. A lot better than I thought. I'm glad it's not a serious injury.
Good news for people that are on the recent Kwak Tae-hwi bandwagon. The injury he sustained on Saturday will only keep him out of action for a week. http://news.naver.com/sports/index....&mod=read&office_id=001&article_id=0001992562
Good news is that he might be available against Gamba on their home match on the 19th. http://www.tagstory.com/video/video_post.aspx?media_id=V000167751
Lee Chun-soo got his cast off from his left foot earlier this month and is ready to start training. http://news.naver.com/sports/index....&mod=read&office_id=076&article_id=0001943497
When did he suffer an injury? lol 천수형 정말 캐안습이네요 박지성,이영표 밑 다른 주요 유럽파 선수들이 많이 뛰지도 못하고 있는 상태에서 이런 무관심이라니...이런걸 아웃오브안중이라고 그러는듯
Yeah, lol. I knew he was injured but never knew it was so serious that he needed a cast. Good to hear that it's off now tho.
Baek Ji-hoon with a 4 week injury and won't be included in the NK match. How many players are injured now. fcuk, I can't seem to remember the last time Korea played with a full squad. One player is always injured and the other can't make it blah blah...
Another player who always seemed to get injured whenever he gets the NT call is Lee Kang-jin... There were like 982347928374 times the KFA called him up but he always couldn't make it because of his injuries. It seems like he still hasnt quite recovered yet from 2 years injury but he will still be able to play http://sports.media.daum.net/nms/so...w.do?cate=23758&type=&newsid=319510&cp=poctan Anyway, he played against Jeonbuk so he should be fine.
Kim Hyung-il is injured and probably won't be picked for the NK match. 2 week thigh injury. http://sports.media.daum.net/nms/so...w.do?cate=23758&type=&newsid=321837&cp=Edaily How many more??
Oh Jang-eun just got injured today during the cup match. He will not likely go to Shanghai. Huh should pick Lee Kwan-woo for his void.
Kim Dong-jin could be out for 5-6 more weeks. http://sports.media.daum.net/nms/wo...72&newsid=385172&cp=sportalkr&RIGHT_SPORTS=R6
Lee Chun-soo to have surgery on his right ankle. He'll be out for 4 months. http://news.naver.com/sports/index....&mod=read&office_id=076&article_id=0001952097 Talk about a setback...
Park Ji-sung re-injures the same knee he got the big surgery on. He'll miss the game against Turkmenistan and could possibly leave the team in coming days. http://news.naver.com/sports/index....&mod=read&office_id=073&article_id=0001961693 EDIT: Lee Chung-yong and Kwak Hee-ju are doubtful as well http://news.naver.com/sports/index....&mod=read&office_id=111&article_id=0000103658
Oh for F-ks sake. not again. :-( How long do they think he will be out for? any surgery to the knee means several months!
