Klinsmann is married to an american, and retired to southern california. He plays pick up games with the Galaxy to keep in shape. That is the gist of what is going on. Now that the national team trains near his house, there ya go.
Klinsman played for the Orange County Blue Stars (PDL) last season under the Alias "Jay Goppingen" Jay=Jurgan, Goppingen=town Klinsman is from in Germany. I remember a thread on Bigsoccer somewhere last year tlaking about this. Mikey

A German friend told me he is able to live a normal life in So Cal. In Germany, he would be bombarded by fans everyday he walks out the door. It's obvious but we probably don't understand the scope of this ourselves since we don't have to deal with such things.
