Oh, would that I could rep you for the title. hahaha. You really do have some nice one liners. Love it.
welcome back bonnie!, now please convince mookie to return so the place is normal again. kthx. also post pics of your trip.
Actually, I'll have to wait until this weekend, when I can save them off FB and put them on Picasa. Sorry. But they'll come eventually!
Just been told we're going to be furloughed for a FOURTH week next quarter. I'm starting to think I'd much rather just have another round of layoffs, because at this point, it's just inhumane to keep us on life support.
Mookie picked on an Indy fan (well two really but one got butthurt). Indy fan went off in a fairly abraisive manner and Mookie peaced out. Sorry to hear about your radiator, Bonnie. I jacked my transmission up last winter. It caused some extensive cussing.
Cracked. Definitely. Started overheating, popped the hood, steam gushing out of a 3-inch crack at the top of the radiator. I just hope that's all that's wrong. I didn't run too hot for more than 2-3 minutes, but I'm more concerned that something else is causing it to overheat to the point that it cracked the radiator. The mechanic said it was highly unlikely, and that it's probably the fact it's plastic and my jeep has 150,000 miles on it.
I asked because of the possible warranty on radiators. I am not too sure on dealership radiators but usually aftermarket radiators have limited lifetime warranties on workmanship. Outside of having an accident or an outside force damaging the radiator, it could fall under the warranty (leaking at the seams or not working properly).
It's the factory radiator. I bought it with 60,000 miles on it, so after 90,000 miles, the only thing (outside a new battery) to go has been the radiator. And the factory wouldn't warranty anything on it past 65,000, IIRC, unless there's a unique/extended drivetrain warranty. Which even then, I'm well over in terms of miles. I'm considering myself lucky. There are other things that need doing, but nothing that prevents it from running.
I got a ticket for using my iphone for looking at a map while driving last month... is going to cost me $366.
