I'm so excited i think i just might pee myself. You know how the after FCIII we were all like "It doesn't feel like 99. I doesn't seem as urgent"? Well *#*#*#*# that! The past 2 weeks have been agony. I am so psyched about this. I swear I might honestly pee myself.
lmfao! *backs away from the general* WAR USA!!!!!! I'm completely excited too. Once in a while, I just suddenly get the urge to scream because I can hardly stand it...lol. *does Macauley Culkin in Home Alone impression* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Just 12 hours away and change from the start of the WWC. Sunday, I root for the red, white and blue. But tomorrow, I root for the blue, white and red. Mortally wound the boobgrabbers, les Bleues! Paul

So the solution to getting to work this morning was for my sister to borrow the car of one of her soccer teammates, Corry. He actually has 2 cars at this time because another friend left his car with Corry while he's on a cruise. Or something like that. Anyway, my sister and I borrowed Corry's car. And to thank him, we took him out to bubble tea tonight. Dana and one of her sisters joined us. The five of us were chilling and chatting. I can't remember how we got into this topic, but Corry said something about the writer guy who's married to Rebecca Lobo. My sister, Dana, and Dana's sister kind of broke into their own conversation. Corry and I started talking about the WNBA and the Storm. I asked him if he followed the Storm, and he said something about the Sonics and then said, "But I really like to follow the US women's soccer team." Outside of the internet and the boards, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that before. I was completely shocked. Then we talked about the WC at length. It was really cool. The guy loves to follow the USWNT. How awesome is that.
I read something in the paper today that I wanted to rant about in the KK because it pissed me off something awful. At a local high school, there is an investigation underway (Grade-fixing alleged at Franklin High) concerning 3 counselors tampering with some student records, either raising GPAs to the 2.0 required for graduation or falsely giving credit honors courses. It seems that parents, teachers, and students had nothing to do with the grade changes. Okay, now that in itself annoys me quite a bit, but what really got to me was this one guy who's son was a senior last year but did not graduate because he failed to earn 2.0s in a few classes. The dad wants to know "if there was any pattern of ethnic groups" because his son wasn't granted any grade changes. *blink* WTF? Guys like this piss me off. He's not just asking for a handout simply because of his race; he's asking for an illegal handout. I don't get it. I can't understand where this guy is coming from. IMO, that's just messed up. So he would be cool if someone screwed up his son's grades so that he got a diploma that he didn't earn?

There's a new video up on the Nike WC site. It's Bri talking about being a goalkeeper. I wonder when we'll get an Abby or Mia interview. So far it's been Brandi, Lorrie *coughnotontheteamcough*, Brandi again, and Bri. I'm looking forward to watching German vs. Canada tonight, but for purely selfish reasons. As I yell at the TV for all of them to tear something I'll be happy knowing that it's just a little over 12 hours before I get to see the USA kick some Swedish ass!!!
