I haven't read the books personally so I can't tell ya for sure. But from what I do know there's certainly a moral edge to the books which follows her faith.

My mom is pretty sensitive to religious themes and propagana-type stuff...partially because she's just very smart and isn't going to get taken for a ride by anyone, and partially because she's an English teacher and used to looking for the meaning behind the meaning in literature. And she hasn't said anything about it being Mormon propaganda...and I'm sure she would if she picked up on it.

So probably people are just being paranoid.

 

Unfortunately EliteXC folded and who knows where she's gonna end up, which just sucks because EliteXC was the only MMA name tag that had a female division.

 

Well ********. My football team lost tonight, in the semi-finals of CCS playoffs, when we had a shot to go to State had we won CCS. By 3 stinking points. Had the game winning TD called back with maybe a minute left in the game. The zebras said my QB was beyond the line of scrimmage when he passed the ball. He may or may not have been. On 4th and long, with maybe 25 seconds left, we go for field goal to tie the game. My kicker had hit one for 41-yards earlier, and this was a 38-yarder. Just missed right. Game over. ********. Had two of my guys sent to the hospital, including our star running back about midway throught the second quarter. ******** ******** ********.

 

She's ended up as an American Gladiator in the newest incarnation of the show. She kicks ass there too.
