    then you agree with me. there is no reason to give them the gradification of being associated with islam. don't give them that. take away the one thing they believe in. they are terrorists.

    no it wasn't, becuase people insist on keeping those two words together, islamic terrorist. there is no such thing. it does not exist.

    i don't know what world you like in, that Islam is the breeding ground for terrorism. But it is not a common perception becuas ei have never heard it before. Hate, fear, death, are breeding grounds for terrorism. Not a religion.

    any perception that exisits about what islam is, or what it promotes, is because of these words, "islamic terrorist". You breed a perception that you don't even agree with becuase you watch too much CNN.

    They are not to be feared or negotiated or reasoned with.

    They should be pitied for their idiocy.

    We do agree, partially. A lot more civilly (is there such a word?) than the verbal donnybrook going on in the Politics and Current Events board on BS.

    It's not just me that says that phrase, Mel. Not just CNN, either. The associated press, Agence-France Presse, Reuters. They all say 'islamic terrorists' or 'islamic radicals' or 'islamic militants'. We've come to expect that whenever a terrorist strike happens, people automatically associate it with, well, it must be Islam-related. And in the end, that's pretty much exclusively the case.

    I am guilty; watching CNN, that is. Which is still worlds better than the media wing of the Republican party, Fox News Channel. :|

    I think Pauko is saying that is because after these people who are commiting these terrorist attacks are claiming that they are killing in the name of Jihad.

    Not good for Islam anyway that you look at it.

    A man not eligible to drive legally for another 60 years is facing charges that could extend that span.

    Craig Allen Irwin, 44, of Bismarck, was arrested on Wednesday for having an open container, possession of drug paraphernalia - and driving without a license.

    Irwin pleaded not guilty to the charges on Thursday.

    Police said Irwin has 442 points on his driver's license and has not been allowed to drive legally for more than 20 years. A driver's license is revoked at 12 points.

    Irwin's license had been revoked until 2065, 33 years longer than the next closest revocation, state Transportation Department records show.

    Irwin has 19 drunken driving convictions, the most in the state, Transportation Department records show.

    This girl on the other team had two homers. ONe was deep right center. The other one was a freakin rocket my way. As soon as i saw it hit the bat i turned and ran. It went all the way to the 300ft fence.
