If "inspired by the club crest" means "we're gonna add some black and yellow" then glad they did it this way with more subtle horizontal detail than one of the earlier designs with the less-than-subtle vertical ie the "bus seat" :)

Looks very similar to a kit from 2 or 3 seasons ago.

Ugly and the font just makes it worse. Another awful kit from Adidas.

Not a fan of that. Yikes. Font is wrong, button-up polo look is dated.

Not a big fan of the official either. Once again, font is just wrong. Too thin. Not sure I'm a big fan of the pattern either. Better that it's horizontal than vertical, but still... Meh at best.

I like the font personally. The shirt is poor. I'll never be a fan of anything besides pristine, clean, chic. Not for the home kit. Dick about with the 3rd all you like.

i too like the font. we've been notoriously bad at choosing sleek or modern looking fonts.

again though, the shirt looks like some pyjama/jogger pants thing. having gotten this year's Greenwood 26 with cup print i was pleasantly surprised at the quality.

over the years here there has been debate over a stitched crest versus a plastic/synthetic one but i really liked the detail on the crest on this season's home shirt and the detail in general.

the upcoming one however... i have little hope for. even if it does end up feeling good in my hands i will likely pass. all hopes on the away and/or 3rd kit.

the recent blue and gold was nice

I usually reserve judgement until I've seen them worn in action. I might actually buy a kit again if we get Sancho, and continue positive footy.

If Woody adds Sancho (+ pref an AM and defender) then on top of the (6 months late) Bruno purchase will lift my self-imposed embago on United purchases.

I'm fine with the font but just not sure about the home kit though - it would need to grow on me.

Will be waiting to see what the other kits look like.

On a side note, finally feel more confident than I have in years in buying a players named / numbered shirt. With the age and quality or players we are buying looks like the short-term merry-go-round may be coming to an end.

(confessions of a former Mkhitayran shirt owner :) )

Like the font of home kit also, but just not sold on the design otherwise. The black one that was rumored (don't know if it was the away or the 3rd one) looked very promising and if it holds to what was put out there, that's the one I'll be going for this season (Sancho #7 of course).

nothing to be ashamed of imo (if you are). as i always say it's easy for our fans to dismiss signings as bad but we've been quite poor at using them.

Blind 17 for me and no regrets. he was deemed slow and bad and not made for this league and looked just fine in a ballin Ajax side. one example of many.

as for Mkhitaryan he's still a good player. maybe a system player but he's just lost his way

Blind made Smalling look like Rio. Never forget.

Y’all always slam the kits and then once you see it being worn in game, send that Megastore order. Lol.

I think the font looks good.

I don't like the font. The numbers look okay. But, the letters look cheap and, so does the combination of the two.
