I just thought this result should remain as a prominent reminder in our history. We can blame the result on the opposition, or the ref or whoever but we should really simply blame the result on ourselves. Yallop should step down because he created this mess. Bliss should be fired. CJ should be given a grace period and shouldn't have to worry about his career. The rebuild has failed.
Just found one: #cf97 lost 6-2 to Columbus Oct. 26, 2003. Tonight is most lopsided loss.— Orrin Schwarz (@Orrin_Schwarz) August 14, 2014
None of this will make a difference because Dear Leader a pussy douchebag piece of shit who won't man up and fire himself. Oh well, they says deaths come in threes - Robin Williams, Lauren Bacall and the Chicago Fire.
6-0. And as I said in the game thread that's worse than what happened to PSA Elite who played Seattle in the 4th round and lost to them 5-0. Do you know where PSA elite is in the United States soccer pyramid? USASA side. That's 5th division. That's a side that's lower than a PDL squad. This is the crowning jewel of the Hauptman era and pretty much sums up what he's done to this club. I can't imagine how much worse or lower we can sink.
We can't be that because we are a 1st division team with first division players. The real Kings of the Cup score is 4-3. Four for the Fire and three for Seattle.
Didn't Santos Laguna put 7 goals on us during a superliga game? Nope, it was Morelia and it was only 5 to 1.
Well we were never really the kings of the Cup, 2 teams have more cups than we do. We still are the active team (at least National pro-team) with the most Open Cups, but Seattle seems to be on their way to get their 4th Cup. So at most we will be "Co-Kings of the Cup among still active teams"
I apologize to all for clicking "show ignored content" but I can't let this one slide. So, now you want to Bethlehem Steel is one ahead of us. Who else?
I was going to make a joke about how we look more like Queens of the Stone Age, but I really like the band, so I won't do that.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maccabi_Los_Angeles Winner (5): 1973, 1975, 1977, 1978, 1981 That was a pretty good run for a team that only lived 11 years (at least at National level).
