Him getting out of position is more due to him trying to put himself in a position to find a passing outlet imo. It's constant problem Bayern has had constantly due to a lack of proactive midfield in getting in position to receive passes from the back. It's this reason why they keep having to use the wings to create anything in the buildup. I still like that he is brave on making progressive passes tho. Otherwise, I think he had a good game overall. There is a team chemistry and mentality issue with few players not playing to their standards at certain periods in a game.
Started the full 90 Mins. Would like to see more of the MdL X KMJ partnership. AUS IS. WAS FÜR A GEILS SPUI! ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️#MiaSanMia #FCBBOC pic.twitter.com/mtdEfeLuDE— FC Bayern München (@FCBayern) September 23, 2023
I did predict that he would start come back to his peak Napoli form at very least around international break, and it seems to be turning out to be the case. Just hope he comes back from the Asian Cup without injuries or anything. Injuries can set even some of the finest players a bit, if the starting lineup of players who are in good form are quality as well. There are even several reports claiming that MdL was losing his cool/upset because he hasn't been getting enough game time.
The first one yeah it can be argued that he had a hand in it being his fault. The second one, that was more on Ulreich. He did show that he has that grit to get back into the game, but yeah have to admit a draw is disappointing.
So much for him being an "insecurity factor" or whatever the f*ck Matthäus was spewing about KMJ. Maybe start critiquing their medicore german talents bit more instead. Kim Min-jae vs Copenhagenhttps://t.co/V1oOBseLio— ✍🏼 (@MunichComps) October 4, 2023
The question before tomorrow, will the midfield disappoint again? Do they have the vision to be compact, fast, creative? Or will 11 stars play isolated again?
Won't be surprised if Munchen doesn't win anything this year. Imagine Spurs wins the league title and Kane does not win anything lmao.
Kim Min-jae vs Freiburg. 180 touches 157 completed passes (most in the game) 92% passing accuracy 8/8 (!!) aerial duels won 3 interceptions 10 recoveries Kim Min-jae, Leroy Sané and Kingsley Coman in @kicker's Bundesliga Team of the Week pic.twitter.com/rqZYVaKUMO— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) October 8, 2023 He is improving game after game so that is good news.
https://www.espn.com/soccer/insider...essi-yamal-world-best-soccer-player-every-age Kim was mentioned as the best player in the world aged 26 in an ESPN article that took into account statistical metrics such as CPM (basically how much a player is estimated to have changed the goal difference for his team per 90 minutes).
why don't they add other factors...like greater than 6 feet tall but less than 7 feet and from Noth/East Hemisphere n such
With a thin squad, it is a good thing that Bayern is still winning games. Bit ugly, but important win against Gala in the CL with a strong 9 points start. Hopefully they do transfers in the January window though. Really does look like Kim is already turning out to be a mainstay CB at Bayern. It is his first season there, but looking good for sure.
Just the beginning for our monster. Ranked at the 22nd place for the 2023 Men's Ballon d'Or!Kim Min-Jae@FCBayern@theKFA#ballondor pic.twitter.com/pfNvkry7g2— Ballon d'Or (@ballondor) October 30, 2023

Tuchel gambled in preparation of the match against Dortmund next weekend. The resulting team was a mess.
The Pokal game loss today, while certainly an embarrassment, pretty much summed up just how the squad planning this season has been shambolic. It certainly doesn't help that there is an injury crisis going on as well. Our man today has basically been dealt with a bad hand. Not only the pitch condition was in shite condition, but also MdL seemed to have gotten a season ending injury as well. Kim is going to have to hold out by himself until Upamecano comes back (or rushed back). Overall feeling I'm getting is that Leverkusen might finally win the league at this rate. The Bayern board better be prepared to open their wallets in January especially and next summer as well.
