KMJ played the full game today against Stuttgart. I saw Dier was subbed out. Anyone know how he did?

Upa had to come on 2nd H cuz Dier had a cut near his eye. KMJ was poor. He's lost complete confidence now. But even worse than him was Alphonso Davies. It's a bad loss, Stuttgart only 2 pts behind them now.

JWY scored the match winner for Stuttgart

He needs to regroup mentally and realize he doesn't have a 6 or 8 offering him cover like he had at Napoli. Just play within himself and come to grips with the fact that he's lost a step. He's played WAY TOO MUCH football. Spaletti relied on him to the Max, and KNT calls him up every time and the AFCON and Asian Cup have taken a toll on many marquée players. Next season, it will be the EU players who go deep at the Euros who will be sluggish first half of club football season

He needs to realize that relying on pure speed and recovery isn't enough at the top flight.
Need to focus on his positioning and decision making, while learning to conserve his pace better.

Well they are out now, so we now wait for the new manager (hopefully) and revitalize our man KMJ.

Hopefully, it's a manager who plays frontfoot attacking football. That would immediately necessitate KMJ and Upa back in the starting lineup. This terror football is horrible.

    Exactly.

I was never truly sold on his style of football, but only his ability to win knockout games (i.e. CL).
I appreciate how Tuchel brought KMJ to Bayern, but the stylistic mismatch makes me hope Tuchel goes somewhere else where he has the personal who will be able to play his style of football.

It is for the best long term for both Tuchel and Bayern/KMJ.

Can't believe Bayern didn't go through....

Tuchel did say the late subs were injury related....

But man, having Musiala and Kane sub off late... and then getting scored on immediately...
and it didn't end up mattering... but not having them around for extra time + potential PKs...

There was a good chance for another Korean to join PJS as a champions league winner. Sucks that both KMJ and LKI got knocked out.. :(

I would have liked to see someone who can play a more high-line, attack oriented football, so it would have been interesting to see Hansi Flick back again, but with support from the board this time. DeZerbi would be nice as well.

My main candidate, however, would have been none other than Xabi Alonso. Too bad all 3 seem to be impossible for now and it seems that there is a possibility that Tuchel could be staying, but who knows....

So, it looks like Bayern might stick with Tuchel? Please tell me this isn't some sick joke. Just get De Zerbi, ffs.

Now that Varane leaves Man U, I think they should go for Kim.

All KNT fans will be like, just eat and stretch all summer. I think the boy will be back next season with his speed and strength back

Looks like Vincent Kompany is the likely new manager.

De Ligt "confirmed" to be up for sale with Jonathan Tah set to replace.

It won't be easy for KMJ to solidify a place in the starting lineup.

Wouldn't he generally be seen as above Upa and Dier? Only challenge would be if Tah comes in while De Ligt stays - but even then would expect plenty of chances in between fixture congestion, tiredness from Upa / De Ligt / Tah all playing in Euros, and potential injuries.

Thinking Asian Cup really messed with KMJ and expecting a hot start next season...
