Malaysia as a kit sponsor ... Did he seriously take that picture whilst in the middle of an Olympic tournament? SMH ...
*SIGH* *BIGGER SIGH* Now we have to sit through this whole season hoping both Bolton and Cardiff make it out of an extremely competitive Championship... That and their legs make it through the season intact in that league... This is more depressing than the fact that I'm still up working right now...
oh god. if he wanted to play with a bunch of white people, he should've just gone to MLS rather than Cardiff City.
If he does well in the Championship, he'll get picked up by a PL team next season, promotion or no promotion.
Not a single PL team was interested in him? I find that pretty hard to believe. KBK and his agent = fail
Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay says he is ‘really excited’ by the signing of South Korean star Kim Bo-Kyung. After officially completing the transfer for the 22-year-old, overnight, the Scot said exclusively to WalesOnline: “We have been tracking him for four to six months after I was tipped off about Kim by an English coach working in Japan. “I went to watch him play for South Korea against Switzerland in Bern and I thought he was top notch. We have done all the health and fitness tests for Kim and we are really happy with the signing.” After signing a four-year contract with the Bluebirds from Japanese outfit Cerezo Osaka, midfielder Kyung will now continue playing for the South Korean team at the Olympics, where he will Gabon and Switzerland after playing 90 minutes in the credible 0-0 draw with Mexico at St James Park last night. The South Korean team will play against Switzerland in Coventry on Sunday and then Gabon at Wembley next Wednesday in Group B of the Olympic tournment. As soon as the Korean’s involvement in the tournament finishes, Kyong will fly back home to complete his work permit formalities and then come to Cardiff ready for action. Mackay is today preparing his team for tomorrow’s pre-season opener at Forest Green Rovers and Solovenian striker Etien Velikonja is expected to play after linking up with the first team this week. That is some awful writing/editing... Anyway, It's interesting to know that Malky was there when we played Spain (not Switzerland - poor editing by the newspaper) in Bern a few weeks ago. Travelling to Cardiff, finishing a medical and signing forms seem like a major distraction for him in these past couple of weeks. Now that his move is unfortunately done, he better screw his head on straight and start performing in our next group matches.
KBK has been off in the last few outings including the Mexico game. Not sure what's going on but I hope he starts lighting it up.
Bolton doesn't necessarily have to get promoted. All Lee has to do is play well and he'll be gone. KBK on the other hand has all the pressure in the world because he signed with Cardiff expecting to be one of the main stars to help them get promoted.
