Reportedly, the Feyenoord officials told the reporters that Shimizu Shogyo Heigh School MF/DF Naoya Kikuchi(18) is most likely to sign with the Dutch club soon.

Kikuchi is currently in Qatar as a member of Japan's U-22 to participate in the international youth tournament.

Kikuchi's agent said early this month that they would discuss about which club to choose in Feb.

    1) I know what you're talking about, and that is wrong.

    2) There's no need to fan the flames with your last sentence.

Ugly?? That must be you, idiot. Actually, you are the ugliest man on earth. Everyone knows it except you.

And you said Kikuchi has no marketing value?? Man, you just don't understand it.

East Asian players in Europe are always seen as a tool to make extra money from marketing aspect. Now, Kikuchi is being scouted by Feyenoord simply because he is a good player worth joining the Dutch team. We Asians should be pleased with this news.

But look at what you've acted. You just showed all of us how sick mind you have.

BTW, Kikuchi has been kept eyes of Feyenoord in the past 2 years. That's before Seo JG and Kim NI were being scouted.(nothing against Seo and Kim)

Pretty soon in the Ned. the crowd will be like "Wait, where are all the Dutch players?"

    Especially during a PSV/Feyenoord game!

Good luck to Kikuchi, and I hope more Japanese players make it abroad. I'm sure KF feels the same, but wanted to express his irritation at the attitude of some Japanese football fans not wanting Feyenord getting Kim Nam Il. He didn't put it nicely at all, but you know how often he gets made fun of by people calling him leelo/looloo. Maybe he wouldn't have done this if some Japanese posters didn't do that.

Anyway, I have a point to make. When you mention Korean players, make sure you get their names right! :) It's Song Jong Gug, not Seo Jong Gug.

Errrhhhh.... perhaps you havent been around long enough to understand that leelo is the old name that this same person used to use on this message board. He changed it after he had posted so many racist diatribes that he was afraid the mods were going to ban him from this board forever, but he isnt fooling anyone.

    Leelo = Korea Fighting.
Everyone who has been around here for more than a month or two is aware of this fact.

. . . . speaking of which, I thought that Leelo was being given "absolutely the last chance he will EVER get to change his behaviour", and that "the next time he posts any racist comment of any sort whatsoever, he will be banned forever".

Is it my imagination, or are the mods in this forum (not to mention BigSoccer in general) beginning to develop a credibility problem.

Korea_Fighting, I believe such action does not deserve any respect, but that doesn't mean you can behave the way you just did.

We(the mods) did appeal to the supermods in the mods only board. I still don't get how Leelo managed to pull it off without even getting a yellow. The Supermods somehow thought Woorijim and my appeal weren't sufficient enough even to yellow card him. Sockpuppeting alone would bring a red to Korea_Fighting and a yellow to the original ID which in this case would be Leelo. But unfortunately(and fortunately for him), all the evidence flew away because of the BigSoccer crashes.

What I don't like is that BS disabled the ability to let the mods edit a harmful comment but let the supermods see what the original comment was in order to decide what to do about it later on. Nowadays, if I see a bad post and if I edit it, it's edited for good. So last time when I posted numerous Leelo posts at the mods board for "evidence", the supermods weren't convinced. So either I have to completely leave Leelo ramble, or I have to try to correct his comments every single time.

Because we're already into the discussion, I have to say something about the posting-manners at this board.
Why does everybody [(S-)Mods included] make double/triple/uncounted-posts, when there is an "edit"-button existing?
You have nearly 3000 posts KF and we know why.

You should red-card people more often for offending others and you should be more aware of the threads, which are often about one theme, but existing twice or trice with a different name<-and delete them, if you are able to, what you ought to be at a board of this size(depends on the admin).

About that "correction": You should not correct it, but delete it. It is not your job (and I mean every Mod now) to work out the 10% that is good and to pick out and delete the rest.
Also you should disable the img-code immediately, so that people like Korea-Fighting would have to think twice to post hundreds of pictures(which would not be a bad thing at all), knowing that people can decide whether they want to see it or not.

And that are only a few problems of this board...

Shimizu Shogyo (Commercial?) High School is known for its famous graduates. I believe Nanami and Kawaguchi went there as well.

Oooops, sorry. I made the mistake because I like Seo JW.

BTW, I like Kim Nam Il too. His ball-taking technique is just amazing. I think he can be a big help for Feyenoord because in the Feyenoord's system, central MF takes very important roles and they need more men ready to replace Ono or Bosvelt any time. And I think Feyenoord doesn't have a type of a player like Kim Nam Il. It increased depth and variation for Feyenoord.

Another thing would be...the Feyenoord coach could use him as a left sideback. That position is the weakest part. As Kim appears to be very reliable in defense, that means Ono can move foward more frequently.

I am not defending KF, just explaining it. There was a post on the Korean board that Korean Football made about some Japanese fans that were appealing to Feyenoord to not accept Kim Namil, on the grounds that Korean fans are not enthusiatic about football. The contention was that Kim has limited marketing value.

Perhaps that will make Leelo's senseless rambling make some sense.

It is clear that there are sick and angry people in every country. I think we all accept this fact. But it doesnt excuse anyone to say "He behaved badly. Therefore I am behaving badly"

Come on, people. This is supposed to be a message board about THE BEAUTIFUL GAME! Its supposed to be about the most thrilling and happy activity on this sad and unfortunate planet. Why is it that we tolerate people turning our discussions into inter-national hatred and rivalry??

I would say that 90% of the people on this message board just want to have fun talking about football. For christsake, you supermods, just red card all the idiots who want to talk about other things, and lets be rid of them for good.

According to the Dutch provincial daily newspaper "Het Rotterdams Dagblad" Feyenoord have managed to sign the Japanese youth international, Kikuchi. Kikuchi, who first wants to finish off his study before coming to Holand in the spring, will be stationed with Feyenoord's satellite club Excelsior to acclimatize to the Dutch way of Football.

In today's report, Kikuchi's agent said nothing his side hasn't signed any contract yet. The agent also said Kikuchi wants to play abroad.

The problem is either Feyenoord or Arsenal want to sign the paper after the end of the season. As Japan's season starts in spring, that means Kukuchi doesn't have a team to train with until May/June. This is not good as he is expected to be one of the cornerstones in Japan U-20. He may choose a J.League club in the end.

Also, a simple question. Can Arsenal get him even though he doesn't have qualification(played 75% of the "A" matches in the past 2 yrs)? This doesn't apply for a youth player or a player who plays in Div1 or lower divisions?

    WTH? Arsenal?

Ack, I'd rather him go to Feye, or even Excelsior for a year! I'm still pissed how they didn't use Ina AT ALL. But it's understandable, too, because Arsenal is just so deep. I don't think a player from Asia (or S. America or Africa) should go to a European "giant" until he is a superstar guaranteed of getting a good amount of playing time. I'd rather he go to a lesser team where he can play, because you can't become a better player by riding the bench.

Kikuchi is being recruited by Arsenal initially not for their first team. I don't think the national A games rule applies here.
