I'm sure you have all read we are after Bowyers best mate by now, AC has even commented publicly on it.

I think this may have something to do with the fact he spent the whole summer at UP with our old physio and Ashton getting fit. Which probably means he has been told a few behind the scenes things that are going on at WH and wants in. We also have some inside info on how fit he is, its not like he hasn't been without injury problems in his career.

Good signing in my book. Thoughts?????

I never knew that he was at UP this summer, but a good player at the right price. Seems that he wants to move too. Hmmmm. Are we tapping up now?

I have heard he won't come cause Bowyer is there. Plus he wants near 100k so it looks like Spuds will get him and pay the money.

I think he is a good player on his day but I am not sure about us signing him.

Bowyer being here, fat sam holding out for maximum price for a 28 year old, regularly injured (although granted that could be because he plays for newcastle;) ). I think that perhaps we could buy better for the same price and wage.

If the transfer fee and wages are highly performance based, then i say go for it. 2-3 mil up front, with possibility of going up to a max of 5 if Dyer averages 25 appearances or more over the next two seasons.

Fat sam is just posturing, he has a disgruntled player and has to sell. He is trying to re-build the team at new castle and he doesn't need some whiner hanging around bolloxing things up.

We could always get rid of Bowyer.

    Just a thought ;)

Spuds have so many midfielders, they could field a team of 11 midfielders and have a bench.

    You're not far off mate.
Have a look at the amount of defenders they have too. Just enough for three back lines!

    Dawson
    Chimbonda
    King
    Lee
    Assou
    Ekotto
    Rocha
    Stalteri
    Gardner
    Ifil
    Kaboul
    Bale
