So, it's a bit early for this, but with the warm weather we had over the weekend, and the fact that it is almost March, who is itching to get the boots on again and kick around somewhere?

It looks like a few people are reading but no one is posting about any kickarounds so I'll put this one up:

    4/19 - Sat - 7:30pm San Jose Dick's Sporting Goods Park FSC

Yeah, I remember that one, but figured it'd be good to start a fresh year with a fresh thread. Mods can merge if they'd like.

I'm willing to kick around anywhere. I live right downtown, just off of 25 and speer basically, so I can get anywhere pretty well. Some place with goals that have nets would be prime, though.

I'd be willing to play if there is one up north.

I went to Florida this weekend and got to play so I have the 'bug' again.

How about joining the Rapids league ? You could play every Sunday, on lined fields with netted goals, with referee's, and have other people come out to watch/yell/scream and not just at the ref's.

They have a variety of age groups and skill levels to join and they start this weekend.

The problem is, even with 11 guys on a team, it works out to about $100 a person. I go to school fulltime and I don't have the money to spend on playing soccer. I'm looking for something FREE.

Denver Play Co-ed is a much better deal (price wise) than the new Rapids league,if you pay as an entire team.

It too is at DSG on nice pitches.

Our Team is full of course but I believe there is space for other entire teams. Or you can sign alone as a free agent and teams in need of a player can pick you up.

Other than that Wash Park is always jumpin' as weather improves and on about every day of the week.

Somedays you'll find 4-6 different pick-up games at once.
