Dude finally deleted tweet. This website is free. pic.twitter.com/nlziuWNKpl— Kris Heneage (@KHeneage) October 23, 2018 Caulkin probably most decorated NUFC writer and somehow this dude doesn’t know of him at all
John Gibson of the Newcastle Chronicle wrote a piece the other day about Rafa's doghouse: The curious case of Newcastle's United's Fabian Schar and Ki Sung-Yueng Welsh fans and media who like to keep tabs on ex-Swans also wondering what's going on? What on earth has happened to Newcastle United and Ki Sung-Yueng as ex-Swansea City man is nowhere to be seen

shame, cuz he's still bossing in our colours. seems he's lost his confidence in the Prem. pity because at his best, he's a Rafa type of player.
Came on as a second half sub against Watford and added a fair amount of impetus to their attack. He exchanged a nice 1-2 and won a free kick after being impeded from getting into the box to collect the return pass, then delivered a nice cross from the free kick that was headed in for Newcastle's opener. It'd be nice for them to get some points and pull themselves out of the relegation zone, and for Ki to play a major part in it. It looks like he's somewhat on the cusp of earning some solid playing time. Ki was subbed on because Shelvey was injured, which might work to Ki's advantage. Newcastle fans are praising him and saying the 10 minutes after he was subbed on were the best football they've played all season.
Ki Sung-yueng: I feared Rafa didn't rate me - but I've proved I can play for Newcastle Was respectful, but in typical Ki fashion, didn't hold back either.
Shelvey still out so should start tomorrow . Rafa mentioned his experience several times today as well as his composure on the ball.
Ki playing very very well. Shame about getting beaten on the header for their goal, but unlucky too how it looped in above the defender. Still, pulling strings in midfield. 1061282962275213313 is not a valid tweet id
He still seems too passive. That header was very difficult to defend and its just unfortunate. But his reaction towards that corner, movement during the match and challenging for the balls is very poor. He needs to be more aggressive or he will be benched again. He is trying to play with too much finesse in a position and formation in which requires athleticism. I am basically saying he is a pussy and if he isnt Newcastle's Iniesta/pirlo every match I would drop him.
Good win for Newcastle, and a tidy performance from Ki. Barely if ever lost the ball and always picked the right pass, though his set pieces were hit and miss.
I know Ki is comfortable in England because he speaks the language, but Ki not playing in Spain/Germany/Italy where he would have more time with the ball, it's one of those "what-ifs" hypotheticals.
I think he would've failed in Spain/Italy, not because of the lack of ability, but due to the mistrust and skepticism they would place on an asian player.
Tbh I think thats an old notion. Having guys like PJS and Son play well against Italian opposition certainly helps as well. The managers and fans would know who he is and what he brings to the team. Just up to Ki to perform well. I still hope he goes to Italy. Not only would it make him a better player but he would be extending his career by playing there.
