Canas coming on for Michu. I'd like to see how this Canas-Britton-Ki CM triangle works.

Yeh, he will do. Michu getting a deserved rest and Canas and Britton should slot behind Ki.

I'm guessing it will take a bit more to get Williams off now.

We're through to the group stages despite shocking refereeing, the amount of players booked for us was ridiculous considering they kept getting away with slapping/punching our players in the face.

Draws tomorrow, exciting stuff. Ki played very well today, would start him Sunday.

pathetic team performance by Swansea in general.
match against West Brom is going to be really interesting. need to pickup a pt at least... but West Brom is a bogey team for Swansea isn't it?

felt bad for the kid. clearly inexperienced but Michu was having a go at him....
I didn't like it when Suarez did that with few Liverpool kids last yr.

Pathetic? We're through to the next round. Who did Liverpool get in the play off round again? Oh wait, they're not in it.

Seriously, stop insulting the team for doing the job they had to do. You've got ridiculously high expectations for us, when all we needed to do is keep it a tight, competitive match which is what we did.

    They were no mugs.

No, West Brom are not in anyway, shape or form a bogey team for us which sums up how little you know about us before you spout out that the team was pathetic on a night that we made new history for the club in reaching the group stages of a European competition.

Donnelly is playing his professional debut, to label that he sucks based on that is way over the top. He is a good player, you can see he's naturally very good at getting positions and he missed a few chances. He was unfortunate not get a goal for a poor handball call and will obviously improve.

The Swans were far from pathetic. But they certainly not what we're used to seeing. That was some of the sloppiest defensive work I've ever seen from Swansea.

Anybody know how the draws for the group stages work? I know the teams that don't make UCL end up being seeded higher and what not.

You are right. West Brom isn't a bogey team for Swansea. Just remembered the last game Swansea played against West Brom. Anyways, i clearly apologize for being wrong in this aspect

But Swansea did play poorly today. And sorry for having high-expectation & actually rating your team...

:ROFLMAO:. Who would have thought a Swansea supporter would be able to rip into a Liverpool supporter about European football?

It's okay. I'm glad Liverpool aren't in Europa anyways. Tournament we never cared for & only use it to breed in youth players (especially in qualifying stage).

Had that weird pass that resulted in a turnover (not sure how much was fault) but good to see him pull a couple nice moves and runs plus the shoulda-been-assist.

    Lol...

Btw, I'm not sure how I felt about Donnelly. There was the cross he attempted where he was better off cutting back to Pozuelo. Then there's the chance KSY created for him, which he either should have buried or just passed back to KSY.

It seemed like Donnelly was forcing it a bit too much. I guess I've been spoiled a bit too much from the Sam - Son - Kiessling triangle...

Given his experience, not all that surprising. Moved well though and has some sort of rapport with the other attackers even if its clear he may not be ready for thebig stage.
