With britton out and no movement on JDG, i don't expect Ki to be moving soon but http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-transfer-news-ki-7515482

If it hadn't been for Britton's injury, Ki would probably have been considered bench fodder again or surplus; but now he may actually see some League minutes.
i don't expect much to materialize but you never know... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...nger-Victor-Moses-on-loan-for-the-season.html
Mixed side with Ki not starting Swans (starting XI): Tremmel, Tiendalli, Bartley, Williams (c), Taylor, Lucas, King, Sheehan, Bray, Montero, Gomis.— Swansea City AFC (@SwansOfficial) July 29, 2014
Comes on due to injury 30: Swans sub. Ki for Alex Bray who has taken a knock to his nose. #Swans— Swansea City AFC (@SwansOfficial) July 29, 2014 31: GOAL. Ki to Taylor whose cross is met by Bafe Gomis with a great header from 10 yards. Exeter 0 Swans 1. #Swans— Swansea City AFC (@SwansOfficial) July 29, 2014
From the little we've been privy to, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. Seems that Ki is active and involved. Hopefully, good sign of things to come this season.
57: Good play. Ki to Shelvey to Routledge. His cross met by Sheehan, but youngster fires over. #Swans— Swansea City AFC (@SwansOfficial) July 29, 2014
The question will be when he has to help defensively against stronger EPL opponents. He can do more offensively than last run but Swansea may need him back on D
As it stands we're light in central midfield, Pablo and Canas are yet to complete there moves away but have been completely excluded from pre season and I can't see them featuring. As it stands it looks like a midfield three of Ki, Shelvey and Sigurdsson is more or less certain to start the season. The only real cover we've got to that is youngsters like Adam King due to the injuries of Fulton and Britton and discussions over Jonathan De Guzman still at early stages. I've been impressed with the business we've done so far, I think a lot of people on here rate Vorm and Davies a lot more highly than they would have done if they'd have seen more of us last season, both players performances really dipped. Fabianski was always going to start the season as our #1 and I'd much prefer to bring in Sigurdsson and have Taylor cover for Davies. I think Siggy will thrive with us.
What are the Swans expectations for the next season? The club still has questions to deal with in terms of depth in the back four and how to replace the scoring burden from Michu's absence. Also, the question remains will De Guzman be back next year as well to complement the team? Given I haven't seen much of Swansea play last season, how would you compare Monk's style to the previous Spanish-style 4-2-3-1 we used to normally see at the Liberty?
