Keyrol Figueroa Position: Forward Birthplace: Tegucigalpa, Honduras DOB: 31, August, 2006 Position: Forward We didn't really have any evidence that he had become a US citizen before, but he was just called in for the US U17s: https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/20...and-czech-republic-at-vaclav-jezek-tournament Liverpool forward Keyrol Figueroa Norales is the lone player making his first U-17 MYNT appearance this cycle. His father is Honduran legend Maynor Figureoa, with 182 caps, so could be a tough battle going forward. Maynor was in the US as a player from 2015 to 2021, but reports said he got his Green Card in 2020, so it seemed a stretch that Keyrol had one before then. But his mom was a NT handball player and may have had the Green Card instead (which still brings up the question of why Maynor wasn't on a GC during that time). Mom's old tweet answers a lot of questions: gracias hoy familia Figueroa-Norales 3 años UK citizen Gracias amor #metas#hijos#Love you Maynor sandra keyrol keyvan keysha #goaltogether pic.twitter.com/EFbjyNvCDo— Sandra Norales (@snorales) July 2, 2017 Still not sure why Dad waited so long to get his Green Card, but hey...
The Honduras fed confirmed in a statement yesterday that he has all three passports. The US U17s already invited him to the UEFA Development Tournament in May but he was not released.
Scored: Lewis Bower @LewisBower2021 Full-time: Wolves 4-3 Liverpool U18 A late #LFCU18 fight-back couldn’t amount to an equaliser as Keyrol Figueroa and Elijah John both scored first goals of the season alongside under-sixteen player, Carter Pinnington. Liverpool’s U18 Premier League Cup campaign is over.
Hope to see him do well. Felt like 2-4yrs ago we had so many yanks academy guys in the pipeline to get excited for.
Scored for U18s: Keyrol Figueroa scored his first goal in the league for Liverpool U18s today. The striker has been unlucky with injuries so far this season while the squad was more bloated at the beginning of the season - today was actually his first start. Should feature more prominently now. pic.twitter.com/Pau8wv1fRM— Lewis Bower (@LewisBower2021) March 4, 2023

USMNT u-17 standout, Keyrol Figueroa, became the youngest player to play for Liverpool in the knock-out stages of the UEFA Youth League, beating stars like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones to that distinction. 🔴🇺🇸[@BenBocsak] pic.twitter.com/3qMkUuDcGr— USMNT Otaku 🇺🇸 (@USMNTOtaku) March 14, 2023
