from www.LiverpoolFC.tv Liverpool have been dealt a blow with the news that Harry Kewell will be out for at least a month after having an injection in a groin injury. It is a blow for Liverpool and the player who was coming back to his best form before he picked up the groin injury in the 3-1 win over Newcastle United at Anfield. Liverpool FC Head of Press Ian Cotton said: "Harry saw a specialist on Wednesday and has received an injection in his groin. He is likely to be out of action between four and five weeks." I think this is horrible, how much more bad luck do we have to endure? Kewell, in my mind was just getting his game turned around!!!! This sucks I really like the guy.
Fortunately, Riise appears on-form. (Is that too much of an under-statement? ;^) JAR also appears to be more comfortable staying on the wing, unlike Harry, who always seems to be angling into the center. Sympathies to Harry though, taking a needle to the groin is painful to think about, much less have to endure.
Riise IS in good form though! you are right! I just really feel bad for Harry, because he'd been getting pummelled by the fans and media for half the season and right when he gets in good graces with them again, BAM! here's a NEEDLE IN YOUR GROIN!!!!.....ouch.
Harry will be back, don't you worry about that. Riise and Traore will get a chance to play down the left side, as well as Luis Garcia who could be worth a try on the left wing.
