Is it possible that Bush is so confident in his actions he's will to suffer "the slings and arrows of outragous fortune"?

Who could have thought: A politician who would be willing to stand up for what he believes in, even if it isn't the most popular action.

My guess is that he thought it was low-hanging fruit and he'd be the hero who settled down the middle east

I also suspect that he is surrounded by lackeys who tell him that he's the best thing since sliced bread

Your personal "guess" and what you think he "thought" and what you "suspect" is, altogether, not worth a bucket of warm spit.

It's just so unbelieveably typical of left wing thought though: You have no real reason to think any of those things. Not one fact, not a scintilla of evidence.

If you had an ounce of the intelligence and saavy you think you have, you'd be able to look at what you wrote above and realize how palably ludicrous it is. But I doubt THAT will happen anytime soon. You "know" what you "know" about Bush and actual evidence is unnecessary.

I have to guess, because his ostensible reasons for going into Iraq never made any sense and have since turned out to be empty. And now, the rationale that he gives is pretty similar to what I said - a democracy in Iraq will cower the bad guys in the area. Never mind his previous (and correct) disparaging of nation-building. Afghanistan was a necessary one, but Iraq was totally optional.

OK, maybe the lackey guess is flimsy, but he sure looked full of himself in that first debate, like he thought that he was above question after having been prez for four years.

He had more humility four years ago, and that's left him.

Just wait, Archer - if he gets re-elected, he'll have you furious in no time, too. You can join me on my lonely perch on the "left."

The warm spit is the weapons of mass dysfunction (never found), the fact that we did jack sh1t to n. korea, pakistan, iran, ect. who were all breaking sanctions, but Saddam attempt on W's Daddy was just the ticket. Also the tremendous blunder of disbanding the military, which left US responible for nation building. And Bill, do you have any kids? I hope they'll have kids because somebody is gonna have to be around to pay off this debt W is racking up. And it sure as sh1t won't be the baby boomers.

This is my candidate for the dumbest comments to ever have fouled this forum.

You seem to have taken a wrong turn at the PoliForum, where this level of ignorance is not only acceptable, it's the norm.

This sort of juvenile douchebaggery, demonstarting an almost complete ignorance of either facts or reality, has no place here. No one here is likely to stoop to respond to this level of inanity. Go away and don't come back. Thanks.

your guest book , i'm gone.
last thing, Bill Clinton lied about cheating on his wife, and was impeached.
This president ran up a trillion dollar debt involving the US in a war based on the assumption that the other country had WMD, which were never found. And he's the greatest thing since sliced bread? Your disgust for the left has out weighed any common sense you may have posessed. What is the matter with you people??!?
