Howdy, Edmontonians. My club, the Harrisburg City Islanders, just signed Kenny Caceros, one of your former players. What's your take on him? Good signing for a USL-PRO team? Thanks!

He was a fair midfielder in D2, nothing spectacular, a good team guy, should fit in well in D3 USL Pro though.

He was consistenly in the line-up games 10-28 and appeared to get the confidence and playing time from then coach Harry Sinkgraven. Caceros quietly did the work and didn't make too many mistakes. I think his role was a mostly as a defensive/holding mid, though Brian Arguez also played defensive mid, for much of the season. Edmonton tried and failed at a 4-3-3 under Sinkgraven, and eventually reverted to a 4-4-2 or sometimes a 4-2-3-1. There were a lot of injuries on the backline and defensive mids, like Caceros, were helping back more than contributing forward.
