Where did I say that? I'm just stating the obvious. I've got no problem with you lot slating the BBC. I just find it funny that half the links to soccer news etc on these boards are to the BBC. Not to mention BBCAmerica which a decent proportion of people on these boards seem to like. But hey carry on. It's no skin off my nose. Believe it or not a few angry US soccer fans are not going to bring it to it's knees pleading for forgiveness.
DARN RIGHT! let's roll baby! Kenn: LOL funny. Enjoy your 15 minutes. The quote from a "fish called wanda" was obviously going to fly over everyone's head. That what made it even funnier!
wow, that was great read and helped me pass time before i leave work. kenn, tired of writing the same responses yet?
No, I figure for each of those folks, it's the only time they're reading it, and I am sincere---it is nice that they took the time to write. Any more, though, and I will have to get all off-on-a-tangent on everybody. 29,000+ hits yesterday, 3,200 unique visitors. Too bad I'm not getting any revenue from this.
Holy smokes! Even during the usually weak month of August, attendance figure are increasing!! Maybe you should charge for "Premium" membership.
I attribute it to: 1) A World Cup bump; 2) Contracting two pages that people weren't looking at; 3) The impending baseball strike; or 4) All those kids who grew up learning HTML are venturing out on the web to view pages done by professionals.
Send me one. You'll be competing with legallydateyourcousin.com and pimpingoutourdaughter.com, but send me one.
That's too bad, Lucid. I'm sure those at BBC would love to learn that all Americans and Englishmen are Caucasian.
You know once it goes down, people are going to be calling for you to move your site to another server
No, Belo Horizonte was more of a fluke than anything else. If I really want to get them, I'll just drag out two words: "1776. Scoreboard."
