    Congrats Kellyn!

Kellyn was a little behind the speed of play for the first 25 minutes or so and was slow to react while ball watching on the first Iceland goal. The kind of observers who only see players when they stand out for good or for bad would have already made up their minds about Kellyn without taking the rest of his play into account.

For the subsequent 60 minutes Kellyn was solid. For the final 15 minutes Kellyn was excellent. He defends with the same strength, positioning sense, tackling sense, and quick ground coverage at the full national level that he does with FCD. After he got comfortable with the speed of the game, he was a contributor to team success on defense and became an attacking threat.

All in all this was a solid debut for a young player in his first cap against a good team. Well done.

Kellyn was as solid as you can ask for, considering he's playing out of position.

Heplayed well enough to earn himself a future call up I'd say.

I thought Kellyn did great. His service improved greatly after his first mishit cross. His touch and decision making were very good. He is deceptively quick in getting back to cover on defense. He never shies away from a tackle. :)

It felt like the US fell asleep, all of them, on both of the goals that were allowed.

I'd say he is going to be away a fair bit for international duty in the coming years.

    He was pretty solid.

He would've come alive sooner with more touches, but didn't seem like they wanted to pass it to him even though he was wide open in the first 20 minutes or so.

Oh well, Bradley's just keeping that CM spot warm for him anyway...
