He is real fast , a clean tackler and can score some goals(that long run that resulted in a goal against San Jose...wo). He was good in Portugal( 23 youth national team)...him and Stokes. He could become the next Bocanegra
yeah kellys gonna be a valuable US player, but i think hes best served as a d-mid - plus hes a cool guy, met him last year
Last year it seemd Gray was used all over the place. As a result, he never really established a role with the team and wound up benched for a lot of the end of the season. This while Walsh and Vaud got playing time. (This was one of the decisions that helped me accept the Bradley trade. Had Faria converted his PK the other day, it would have been even easier!) With Marsch out for more than a month, and with Brown back, I expect we'll see Gray in midfield and Capano on the sideline. I don't think Bradley ever found a place to use him, but if his passing gets a little crisper, he can get a solid role filling in for Marsch as an inside right midfielder, perhaps alternating with Armas as D-mid. Right now I think Gray's biggest problem is mental. Too often he seems to be wondering what to do. I think that's largely because he's lacked a clear role, so the start of this season might be great for him. If he still looks spaced out come June, he might not pan out.
