Looking at the OPTA stats for the season thus far, his numbers put him in pretty good company: his overall index score of around 950 puts him slightly ahead of Schmeichel and Wright, though slightly behind Cudicini and Schwarzer. The only two keepers with double-digit appearances and scores over the thousand mark are Given and Friedel, who both are over 1100. One interesting note concerning our two Premiership keepers: Keller, who has normally been quite solid on crosses, has dropped six of them this season, while Friedel, who used to be pretty dodgy on crosses (particularly during his Liverpool stint), is currently the only keeper with a perfect handling record. He has also saved a remarkable 79 percent of the shots on goal he's faced. Most keepers are clustered around the 70 percent mark.
