omg. When I told my wife about these 2 celebrities I read about on BS, I'm so glad I couldn't remember their names! For real - I don't know any of the real celebrities they show either, except the occasional ex-MLS player.
Pre-Sale seats available to STM are mostly gone (only singletons except for high-up in the corners ) and pricey - single seats at midfield 126-128 range from $250 - $500. And this dynamic pricing model is all over the place - singles in lower 133 four rows apart range from 190 to 215. Club seats (and all club sections appear to be food/drink all-inclusive compared to DCU games). I am considering speculating on this game, but with only singles avail except for upper levels or and the corners it's too rich for my blood in general.
meant to follow up on the club seats: they are going for $500 - $720. And pre-sale seats are almost all gone now, about 75 left. Cant imagine there will be much available for general public sale.
Thanks for the updates. My wife was keen to go, I just gave her the news re: price and availability. Not going now.
I wonder if they held seats back for the general sale. I'll try to remember to take a look during the general on sale tomorrow morning.
DC is selling a 2 pack up at the tippy top of the south goaline of tickets for the USWNT game plus the November 7 NYCFC game (DC's season ender) for $90+ fees.
They are really banking on some new to soccer fans after the World Cup thinking all games cost $300+ to get into.
Since there are really no bad seats, that 2-pack deal is/was a screaming deal (if it is still avail). There is not much new (blue) sale left...and look at the prices. New singletons in the south stand are listed $450 with resale tix starting at $220+ prices are all over the place - resale are sometimes hundreds less than new a few rows apart, but the opposite happens, too. it's crazy out there, man...
I was finally able to take a look and yeah, that game is practically sold out already. Also a lot fewer resale tickets available at the moment than there were in that screenshot you posted. That DC United bundle deal is still available, too. D.C. United x USWNT Bundle!
MLS is back, baby! Was Neville holding Portland back that much or did playing a undermanned Seattle the difference? 5-1 is a pretty stunning scoreline in that rivalry.
Please forgive the horrific grammar in my original post. It’s too late to edit and I was too excited to watch soccer games without hydra(commercial)tion breaks.
Loving that they are showing the broadcasters as they talk during halftime (and presumably pregame - I didn’t catch that). This is something that every other league in the world does but somehow took until now for Apple to realize would improve their MLS broadcasts.
Too lazy to check since i only follow dcu: has mls done the same as nesl and scheduled games during the bronze final? (I saw that on the tv guide - yes, tv guide is still a thing)!
No MLS games today. I think it’s a missed opportunity. The normal 7:30 eastern time slots in right after the 3rd place game. I would’ve had a handful of games on the calendar tonight.
I noticed that NWSL and USL had games, on major networks, before/during/after the 3rd place game. I was flipping between them. Loudoun was decent enough to have their game on afterward; not on a major network, but on a local TV channel Spirit game was on at the same time as the NASCAR race in N Wilkesboro on Sunday, I had the race on the big TV and Spirit on the tablet
MLS advertised that 49 of its players were coming back from Mundial. Which led me to some back of napkin math that about 4% of tournament finals players (26 x 48) come from MLS and about 5.5% of MLS players were in the tournament finals. Anyone know how that compares to the other leagues?
