Fun game to watch, but the TV production is godawful. Too many shots of "celebrities" while play continued on the pitch. This isn't Pig's Knuckle State v. Sheep********er U. college football, it's the bloody World Cup.

 

The fact that it's been happening across countries, games, and times suggests that this is a FIFA direction.

 

FIFA is in charge of all game production, every outlet gets the same game feed.

I don't necessarily mind the celebrity sightings - I just wish they'd tell me who the hell most of them are ... I mean, if they're gonna go to all the trouble to cut away from game action, they must know who they are; put up a damned chyron with a name, maybe tell me who they're supporting even if I'm gonna be greedy).

 

There was(is?) a photo going round of Mia Khalifa and Lana Rhoades sitting together at the usmnt game. Turns out to be fake, but at least that one didn't need captions...
