Chelsea have rejected a loan bid from Valanciennes for defender Slobodan Rajkovic as Chelsea want to get a work permit for the defender #CFC

    If true, fantastic.

Think I should take a little time to update about mupc2011 world finals(u15s tournament).

Chelsea lads have reached the quarter final after winning all 4 of their group games & without conceding a goal. As Juni said they're the team to beat. They play Right to Dream academy of Ghana tomorrow in quarters(knockout stage).

really depends on what happens in the transfer market

if we sign another Modric or another CM then I expect he will go out on loan

Fulham and Bolton have been listed as potential loan clubs

Can't see him going out on loan when we only have three fit midfielders at the club.

the only players/positions that he can challenge are Lamps and Yossi (who are both in their 30s) Ramires (whos more of a CM while josh imo will be used as an AM).

I dont think he'll be used as a DM like carlo tried so you can cross Romeu and Mikel off that list and malouda is a winger (did i write that ).

Now lets throw injuries into it and i think he has a very good chance at getting some serous playing time this season.

The only way i see otherwise is if we sign someone like modric.

True but his pre-season performances when playing higher up were soo good that one would think that AVB would have caught on.

Romeu is away at the U-20 WC and has never even trained with Chelsea. Benayoun can only play in the most forward MF position. Malouda is an attacker. McEachran has to stay because he can play all three midfield positions and we are one injury away from having nothing in midfield.

uhh... so? AVB has said he is in his plans for this year, otherwise why would he have signed?
:confused:he's still has defensive duties and assumes a midfield role
    Hes a LM/LW
I think he'll end up staying

Not sure what you're even trying to argue, pete. Listing Malouda as a midfielder to make it appear as if we have sufficient depth to loan Josh out is misguided.

If Mikel gets hurt, could Benayoun or Malouda take his place? No. Josh could. If Ramires gets hurt, could Benayoun or Malouda take his place? No. Josh could.

Yossi could, it wouldn't be the ideal situation, but there you go. My point is that we have more than 3 midfielders.
