Maybe if we took up a collection outside of the stadium we get a portion of the salary he's making at Blackburn then ...

    aw screw it ...

    It's useless.

Maybe if we erected bronze statues of Brad at every entrance.

What, exactly, does he need to be forgiven for?

No need to be upset about that. Brad was a giant. He was so much better than everyone else in the league.

If he came back - even on loan (pleasepleasepleaseplease) - he'd be the best keeper in MLS by a large margin.

Land covers 1/3 of the Earth's surface.

The other 2/3 is covered by Brad Friedel.

I hope Jon is there too. It would be like watching Austing Powers all over again with Me and Mini-Me signing autographs!

BTW there's a meet and greet tonight at the Huntington club with Sigi and others giving their analysis of the WC groups and teams. I remember Sigi picking Barce to win the Champion's league back in the preseason.

I think it is at 6:30 tonight. I just got a postcard this afternoon with some summer Crew events.

Memories: remember the pre-playoffs rally at the Statehouse back in '96, when Tom Fitgerald introduced Brad Friedel by saying that his nickname in the clubhouse was "wingspan" for two reasons, one of which was the length of his arms?

    Man, I love "El Condor".

Who's going to the stadium on Monday? I'm planning on sneaking away (well, not so much since everyone knows I'm sneaking out) from work at Ohio State at about 11AM.
