http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...r-demand--Liverpool-offer-Crouch-plus-5m.html Wow. This would suck beyond suck if there was any truth to it.
That offer is a joke. 5 million plus Crouch? Crouch is at most worth 6 million now. If liverpool is willing to offer 18 million for Barry, i don't see why they cannot offer us at least 20 million or more for Keano.
Sometimes I think the lot of you are drinking lead paint smoothies. He's on his honeymoon! in fact, here
Wow. If all is true we have Keane and Berbatov wanting to leave, with Ramos wanting Bent gone. I get the feeling if Keane goes, Berbatov will put in a request.
But players have agents who do the dirty work for them. I'm not saying it's all true, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. There's a ton of smoke surrounding this potential fire. I don't think Ramos is looking to offload Bent, to be honest. With the way Ramos is stacking our midfield, it's almost as if he's leaning towards playing with one up top at times, which suits Bent perfectly.
I saw the BBC article.... shocking stuff but it's got to be rumor mill gossip. Keano just signed a 5 year contract... unless there's been a recent falling out or his newlywed wife doesn't fancy Spurs, London or she requires a bigger pocketbook.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?xml=/sport/2008/07/01/ufnkeane301.xml Wishful thinking from Liverpool.
Yeah, Keano leaving now that we are stacking the team...hahahahahahahahahahahahaha...to Liverpool... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahaha*choak**choak**choak*...can...not...breath...
Why would he sign a new contract if he was at all unhappy? I don't believe this... ...and if Jenas thought he had alot of pressure on him to score before, if Berbs and Keane both leave...
Not happening. Most likely this is Crouch's agent trying to get a rise in interest b/c everyone knows he's on his way out--to Pompey, not Spurs (*sighs with relief*). I'm sure its been mentioned already, but this story (a makes no sense--why would Keane want to go from first team star to the bench? Rafa is most likely to stick with one striker b/c Torres does best alone and Keano needs a strike partner that can hold the ball up; b) this story was originally appeared [out of nowhere] in NOTW--that's a trashy tabloid that spends most of its pages covering Amy W.'s baps and what happened on Big Brother last night; and c) for all the ITK that supports this [Noodles, Ben, and Penut and Noodles has it in for Keano--seems to blame him for Defoe leaving for some reason] there are at least two very reliable ITKs that have said there has not been any contact and that Keano has not asked to leave. Noodles, it is worth noting, stopped short of saying that Keano actually put in a "formal" transfer request. So. These are my thoughts, who wants to argue about it?
We gave him stability when people said he couldn't commit, time to get his game together and finally he is a 20 goal a season striker. I hope there is no truth else i would feel severly let down by the lad
Check this out. First day of training. I believe that the young man on the left is one Robbie Keane. I assume that his tranfer request is in left hand, being shielded from view by Hutton. What is sadder? Being a scouser? Or being duped by one? Oh and Noodles, the idiot ITK over at FTL that keeps saying he wants out posted today that RK wasn't even training with the club today. Credibility much?
CL or no CL, given Robbie's history of being screwed out of starting positions/playing time at Inter & Leeds (how Venables treated him at Leeds took the cake) and how he has cemented himself as one of the biggest fan favourites, part time captain, a bonafide star player for a big club and in a system that suits how he plays so well... I just couldn't see him leaving for the Liverpool shuffle-it-up, merry-go-round. I had a longer post but the fecking ocmputer froze.
I don't think he'll be off. Berbatov will be but not Keano. I'm not even sure if Liverpool can afford him anyway - get the latest at JSG
