    From http://www.soccernet.com/england/news/2002/1015/20021015mufckeane.html

"If he did serve the ban and pay the fine - a record financial punishment imposed by the FA - rather than appeal Keane would miss all domestic matches, starting with the Worthington Cup third round clash with Leicester at Old Trafford on November 5 and include the Maine Road Manchester derby the following Saturday and the crunch encounter with bitter rivals Liverpool on December 1."

He will, however return just in time to be sent off against Arsenal in the following week.

Too bad the transfer window isn't open. I'm sure Arsene would love to get Niall Quinn back just for that match...

I thought your post meant Roy failed to be elected Miss Anfield and we all know he'll never be Miss Congeniality! Couldn't happen to a bigger wanker!

Could be the closest he comes to winning a trophy this year...
