Keano might be older but a 6 month deal at Real will give him the opportunity have his choice of clubs come summer time. This will allow Celtic to free up the necessary capital to bring him in over the summer.

 You have to be kidding. Keano will rejuvenate that sloppy midfield, give it impetus and a total defensive sheild in front of the CB's. He wont break a sweat in La Liga, there is no pace there, he could play on in Spain for another 4yrs.

If this indeed is true, it's heart-breaking, very much so.

I'm happy for Keane though, if this is true. I don't like Real Madrid, and this is going to be quite testy for me. I'll want to watch how this works out, and how Keane plays for them.. I'm not convinced the other "galaticos" will stand a bollocking from him, though..

It will be interesting to see if he gets to run the show and be the general like he was at United...

ok, so this is what Madrid's midfield will eventually look like:

    ----------Ballack----------
    ?Baptista?-----------Beckham
    ----------Keane------------
    scary.

    Re: Keane to....

yeah thats what i was thinking, but reading this i hadnt taken into concideration the pace of the game. Since there slower Keano could control the midfield there. Unfortunitly it will be good for Real Madrid now that I think about it

They don't know anything about defence, we can discount their opinion ;)

you beat me to it, they shouldn't complain one bit, Keane is the exact type of player they need. They have their heads up their asses if they think otherwise. ungrateful cvnts.

With Keano's newfound 'calm' if he settles, RM now have the best DM in Spain. Great....

    Re: Keane to....

sure they do, it's spelt C-A-S-I-L-L-A-S.

but seriously, no one really can say for sure how this will work out, if it does really happen. most of the doubters are more concerned about Keane's age in an already obviously slow midfield, rather than his ability. for a short signing(1 year contract), this can't really hurt, something had to be done anyway. so whats thousands of euros, better spend it on Keane than some of the starters recently.

Only serves to demonstrate my point more when they equate the defence to being the goalkeeper only

perhaps a smiley would have better served to illustrate the obvious sarcasm. then again...

    oh well, carry on.

This is all a bad dream...

we're not owned by the Gayslurs, we're still in Europe and we didn't drop points to Phil Neville's team, also, Roy Keane is a ManU player, he'd never got to Madrid :(
