Veron and Keane out 4 weeks

Manchester United midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron faces four weeks on the sidelines because of a knee injury.
The news is a blow for United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who is already without captain Roy Keane because of a similar injury.

The pair will miss the Champions League matches against Basel and Deportivo Coruna and the crucial Premiership games against Aston Villa and Fulham.

"Keane and Veron are the more serious of the injuries I have," Ferguson said ahead of United's Champions League match against Basle on Tuesday.

"They will be (sidelined for) three to four weeks. But the thing that is a little bonus is the international fortnight from 22 March to 5 April, which takes a lot of time away in terms of recovery.
