HUGE props to the designer, those things are gems, i tell you. and if anyone lives out in the south OP/Leawood area and will have access to the bulk pile, would it just work if I found you and paid you cash for it? these things are insane, I gotta get my hands on one before the first match.
The plan is to have them in advance of the first game. However, I do live in south O.P., around 140th & Nall. When they come in, we can certainly arrange for you to pick one up.

It's been $20 in the past and I suspect it will stay the same for this year. No price increase here....see, we're looking out for the working man!! If you check the post-dates on that thread, you will see that it was from 2006, not 2007 (which was "last time"). I am under the impression that we did pre-orders in 2006 as a way to raise seed money (and to pay back Ben for fronting the cost). We now have enough liquid assets in the Cauldron account to cover the up front cost, so we do not need to do reduced-price pre-orders to get cash in the door. I don't recall for sure, but I don't think we did dicounted pre-orders in 2007 either.
See but had the Wizards' color been Cobalt and not Wiz Royal Blue we wouldn't have had any trouble at all.
Any update on when they will arrive? Going to try and make it up to the opener or 2nd home game and want to pick one up.
I have been in fairly constant communication with the owner of the company making the scarves. I have her commitment that we will have them in our possession in advance of the season opener.

The picture of the scarf was posted in the Merchandise Thread last night as well as this thread. As with prior scarves, these will run $20 each, and will be available for purchase this weekend at the tailgate (or Friday if you happen to run into me or Kevin). We will have them added to the Cauldron Store on our web site soon.
