1-1 tied right now. Winner takes all. Cold weather.

I don't know whats up with Igor, but he needs to get out there. That said, I am left to assume we'll play with the same lineup as Tuesday night. Although I sure with Igor and Armstrong were more involved.

    Meola
    Conrad-Gutierrez-Garcia
    Zavagnin
    Zotinca-Talley-Quill
    Preki-Klein
    Harris

We need to do more to be forward. In saying that, I mean we need to not leave Harris all alone in the attack. He often wins headers off long balls, but no one is running off him to gain possession. If we're going to have him up there, we've gotta have Preki or Klein up there with him. This is a byproduct of playing the 3-6-1.

No predictions from me. I will only say I think someone will win in OT.

I don't have a problem with the lineup we played with on Saturday, except I would have preferred Igor start. I can't argue with Wolde's goal either though.

Ben makes a great point about no one up top. Having a 3-6-1 formation is all well and good, but that lone forward needs to have help close behind him and to either side.

Prediction: 2-0 Wizards, in regulation. Goals by Preki and Igor, if he plays.

Exactly. This is the problem with the 3-6-1. For the US in '98, Reyna was a terrible choice to put as one of the attacking midfielders, because he's not the kind of player that will always be in support of the forward. Brazil essentially played the same 3-6-1 in '02, but their attacking midfielders were Rivaldo and Ronaldinho who were always there to support Ronaldo. If Preki, Klein and Simutenkov are able to get forward more, its great. If they are stuck trying to defend, you've got issues, especially if you're trying to counter.

Less than 5 hours to kick off, I am so jazzed. Let's go Wizards!

Look into your crystal ball, what do you see for the rest of the playoffs? Your prediction came sooo close to being 100 percent acurate. Igor played a great game. Preki was tough, but didn't get amy chances close. He did fake a couple of Rapids out of their jocks.
