    Be first on record

To say we wont win...... something will happen the Galaxy will be up 3-2 with 1 minute left in the match.

And Tony Meola will score on a 95 yard goal kick to tie the match.

Foiling the Galaxy chances at its first win of the season.

Would that be to make up for the goal he gave up to Albright last season in the playoffs?

Simon & EZ gone. We probably won't miss them.

What's the deal with Herc? I've seen that he's with the Sounders so is he playing for us or them?

Seeing that this is a road game, I see another tie or loss. I'll probably lose interest come broadcast time (10PM PST) since the result has already been determined.

Given their recent form, I agree.

As with last week, Cien will be key. If we get Pete V back, then all the better since he seems to support Cien quite well.

    More crap from Chris Bergen.

You can tell that he's never seen Ruiz play - "The pint-sized Guatemalan striker..."

    No love here from Linda

    Anyone seen our chairman?

Ok, from the Pan-Galactic View it seems Sigi asked if Tyrone can stay with the G's, and he is. That helps the back line a bunch.

I couldn't wait for ESPN and so listened to the game on the radio. I still want to see it, but for now all I can say is: "Umm, what's the deal guys????"

It's not too late to get things right, but I think they have been too focused on finally being champions and moving into Victoria Street, perhaps feeling invincible. It's as if they forgot that they still need to play and win games. Plus, while clearly not Bo's fault in any way, bringing him in didn't initially help either with team chemistry and rythme. Only now does that seem to be working out.

    As I said, umm....

I hope to God that I'm watching on the day that Nick Garcia finally gets what his punk ass deserves. I am going to have one long and glorious laugh when someone burns his ass in to the ground and leaves him rolling on the ground in pain after he spiked himself trying to do his usual rape and blame parody of defense. I don't care who it is or when it is, I just want to see it. Maybe it will be Edson Buddle plowing him into Crew stadium. Maybe Donovan will spin him inside out. Maybe Beasely will spark right past his ass. Or maybe, just maybe Fish can beat the living piss out of him when we get him in our digs. When that's done, I'd like to finish the day by letting Cobi drop 1000 gallons of luke warm yeager meister on all 5000 of the KC faithful.

You support a team that contains carlos freaking Ruiz.

I dont think more needs to be said.

Im not sure if thisis trolling ,as im not looking to make a fight because its so freaking obvious. But if someone wants to delete this, go ahead.

On a different note. Well played game for the most part. it was exciting. the end.

As a Wizards fan I will say this: Ruiz did not deserve a red, or even a yellow for what he did. Garcia maybe deserved a yellow for constantly provoking Ruiz, but I don't think he did anything outrageous that would warrant posters to advocate violence against him. It's a physical game, and as U Yank insinuated, Ruiz has been known to take advantage of any latitude given to him by the refs, whether it's dishing it out or embelishing contact in the box.

Well said. I am no fan of Garcia but violence serves no purpose and no has place.

As for the cards, after watching the game I thought that the cards, whether none, yellow or red, should have been mutual. Personally, I think mutual yellows earlier in the game would have been the best to try and settle an ever worsening situation.

Garcia is a disgrace. He thrives on the incompetent officiating in this league and he's been doing it for a while. Had Kevin Terry had one ounce of control over this match he would have cautioned and or warned both Ruiz and Garcia in the 65th minute and exerted some control over the match. Instead, Terry bury's his head and Garcia continues his crap and Ruiz escalates in kind. I don't advocate direct violence against that little P.O.S. I look forward to the day when he runs up against a player with more self-control than Ruiz who has the tools neccesary to make Garcia look like the disgrace that he is. Were he to hurt himself while in the midst of his pathetic groping attempts, I'd shed no tears.

the thing is, that once he goes up against aplayer of more composure than ruiz, he cuts it out to a large degree. I think the reason he does it so much against ruiz is becasue of exactly what you said :Ruiz has very little self-control.

He did the same to Hernadez, and Azizi.

but i wouldnt say that he constantly "takes advantage of the incompetant officiating in this league"

Perhaps. All I know, is that Garcia infuriates me to no end every time I watch him play. I should say that I blame Carlos as much as I blame Garcia. Pescadito needs to get his emotions under control and just play the damn game. Paging Sigi Schmidt, get Uncle Phil to pay for some anger management courses for the fish, stat.

I thought the game was entertaining enough to stay up till 1:00 am for. Ruiz was battered all over the field mostly by Garcia but Conrad gave him a pretty good shot once too. Ruiz gave back as much as he got.

Looked to me that he got his red for an elbow that missed. I thought Garcia had flicked the back of Ruiz's head to instigate it. But mostly I thought they both deserved yellows earlier in the game.

Last week the refs were criticized for giving out too many cards, no surprise they let too much go this week.

Garcia's dive was an embarrassment to the Wizards. Just because Ruiz and Hernandez dive/dove all the time doesn't mean KC needs to resort to that kind of cowardice. LA fans have every right to be pissed about it. Two things though...
    1. It didn't make a difference on the outcome of the game.
    2. This is the first time I have ever seen him do something even remotely that disgraceful.

The above is the opinion of one single Wizards fan.

I don't find it a disgrace at all. Both players take full advantage of what the ref and game allows. Both take risks and walk the line. This game Ruiz gets red. Maybe the next game Garcia is called for a foul in the box leading to a PK.

While most Galaxy fans don't seem to recognize it, LA/KC - amongst the players and the KC fans - is turning into a great rivalry. It's very emotional, heated, and intense. The playoff series in 96, 00, and 02 were all wall to wall incredible.

Maybe KC is too small a market for LA to be bothered having a rivalry with. That's too bad.

    SOS (Same Old Story)

Crappy first half, but a solid second half.

Ruiz gets a red for a RIDICULOUS acting job by Garcia, but Ruiz & Glinton (I'm pretty sure) are tackled IN the penalty area & there's NO call???!!

Lousy refreeing job by Kevin Terry!!

But, at the same time, we continue to underperform!!

Once again, Hartman was solid. It was the Galaxy D that didn't do it's job, especially on Preki's GW.

Albright was actually very impressive. GREAT pass on Ruiz's header.

One more match on this 8-game "disaster."

Hopefully, we can get SOMETHING v the Crapids!!

Andy lies. I know of other Wizards fans that think he dove and shouldn't have.

I guess in Andy's perfect world we will have players just diving all the time. That sounds great. That sure is fun to watch people flopping around all over the field.

"Both players take full advantage of what the ref and game allows” Hell under that line of thinking maybe guys should punch opposing players in the face. If the ref isn't looking and they don't get caught, why not? Take full advantage right?

I believe ethics apply to the sports world as well as the real one.
