Well the MLS weekly release said that they've decided that the Morelia/Wizards winner will host the first leg of the final (tentatively scheduled for the 4th of September). I was hoping for the 2nd leg. I definitely can't make it to KC on the 4th. If the Wizards get past Morelia... We need to try and plan a road trip to Costa Rica or Mexico for the 2nd leg of the final on September 18th. Even if it is just four or five of us, if we can get the Mystics banner and the checkered flag. That would rock!
Andy: Keep in mind that most of us are college students. Meaning a) the games are midweek and b) going out of the country on such short notice is expensive as all hell. Good idea though.
But the 18th of September won't be horribly short notice. Three weeks is plenty of time. I bet we can probably get it down to $250-300 bucks if we can pool resources or find a cheap ass flight deal. Perhaps the team can help.
