Thanks for posting these, I couldn't make the game.

Good to see that the Argies came back out and the fans were in force.

as luck would have it, you guys scored about 10 seconds after it was lit.

 

why couldn't you have lit it earlier?

 

lol. yeah.
we had 3 of them and were going to light them after the goals, but when we realized how tight the security was, we decided to light it at the 90th minute so if they kicked us out we wouldn't miss too much.

That happened last year too when a few KC fans made the trip down to PHP. We're trailing 1-0 in the 90th minute when the inferno sets it off. We promptly score.

Unfortunately Dallas knew they had this thing called stoppage time and future World Player of the Year Aaron freaking Pitchkolan scores on us again in the 92nd.

 

lol. he got sent down to the developmental squad last week to make room for Riccetti.

 

The question is, why were you on the other side of the field? Come on over to the Cauldron in 102, 103 next time. Any ticket will get you in, and you'll never want to see the game anywhere else again.

 

you don't know how badly i wanted too

however, it was my wife's first soccer game EVER. i wanted her to be able to relax and enjoy the game and (hopefully) make a fan out of her. she did have a great time and is wanting to come back...maybe i'll slowly inch our way over, section by section

 

Good luck with that. You could also just come over and sit at the top of the section - "the sightlines are better" - and slowly work your way down..
