I'll start a post game thread immediatelly following the match. All in game celebrations and updates in here. GO WIZ!
Great - Brian Hall - where's that bald Italian that did the Manchester United/Rangers game when we need him? I'll make one prediction - the officiating will suck tonight.

Wow! Wolde freaking Harris. Nice to finally get a goal from that one-sided trade. KC when scoring first 9-4-6 (9th, well below average for MLS. COL when allowing first goal 2-9-3 (6th, slightly below average)
I'm not fond of scoring in the first 10 minutes then bunkering for the other 80... But this is freaking 180-210 minute game. Colorado is going to score. Why are we trying to score another goal?
I'm getting affraid of the bunkering as well. But like I always say, its often not just that we bunker but the other team presses that much more. We need to do more of that nice midfield possession. Anyone else notice the balls coming from the CO right mid over to the left. Thats exactly where Conrad is and he's been known to leave a mark open this year. That is definitely by design. Hope our defense can go 90, cause our options are limited. Igor will come on for Harris sometime this half. GO WIZ!
well does a 1-0 victory sound better than a 2-1 defeet??????? It's most goals... we gotta try to counter them and get a knockout goal 2-0 If it don't come, I like our chances in the second game at 1-0....
Colorado is looking pretty scary with some of their attacks. It's just a matter of time before they score. Not because we'll mess up, but b/c they really attacking well at times. As for the bunker ball, that might have been the plan from the start. I wouldn't be surprised if Bob had wanted to counter and get out with a 0-0 result. That Wolde put one in that early was just gravy, so to speak.
I'd rather watch the Wizards "playing to win". Remember the excitement last year when they let it all hang out? Two or three goals and Saturday becomes a party.
Great results from the first half marginal play from the wizards. They will score but 1-1 sounds nice right now. Tough situation if your Colorado. Push forward and possibly give up another goal and go to arrowhead down 2-0 or play your game and maybe not get an equalizer. What do you do. COUNTER BALLs WIZARDS.
Please. KC isn't bunkering. They are trying to come forward. There are 2 problems. COL's midfield is much faster and Zags is having to worrk his non-existant tail off to keep up. Second is that KC has turned the ball over inside the 30s 20+ times and inside their own 30 3 times. That's about 7-10 too many for their style of ball, much less altitude, etc. Most of Colorado's losses of possession are coming in KC's end. That midfield disparity will be what hurts KC if anything. Good half for KC. Not a great one for the turnover reasons I mentioned. COL only had 2 chances of note. Spencer would have required a world class finish to net the 20 yard volley from central and of course he hit the post with the other. Similar for KC. Harris with a fantastic drag move and bury with the lefty roof rocket. Sweet. Chung and Zags face to face is interesting. What was up with Klein and the two leg scissor tackle? Strange for him. Any road win is a good one!
Hell with that, I'll thank you now! Thank you. BTW, KC is 8-1-2 when leading at half-time (5th). COL is 1-8-0 when trailing (9th).
I'm with Bob..... what hes complaining about is the foul called in the midfield that lead to the tying goal. Zavagnin (i think) won the damn ball. The CO guy ran into him and got a foul although Z played the ball out to a Wizards. I was yelling about that call all the way. Total crap. The goal was clean, but what lead to the possession leading to the goal was crap.
