Well since most of us either don't have direct kick/HD etc.. and Metro Sports isn't showing this one, the in game dialog I'm sure will be somewhat limited so we'll do a combo thread here. Any PbP is welcome if someone is available. I'm sure there will be some Post Game when many of our Traveling Savants return sometime tomorrow. Until then, post away (on topic please)

couldn't tell if it was a handball or not. anyways the cauldron sounds great. and the announcer has said something about them being louder than colorado several times.

Watching the handball frame by frame - Davy's arm is across his chest and the ball mostly hits Davy's hip, just below his arm... As he straightens his arm, I think he knocks the ball with his forearm.

It's close, but I'm pretty sure it was handball.

Well first and foremost, props to the cauldren showing. You're the only ones we can hear on tv. Wish I was there. As far as the goal, that's just plain and simple unlucky. I can't say that it was a bad call. Can't really tell. The boys in blue look to be making the majority of the opportunities and I think it's but a matter of time. Cheers to the second half. Wizards til I die.

Actually I believe the is the approach to playing the Wizards this year. It started with Columbus, continued effectively with Dallas, now Colorado is doing it. You can always kill a finesse/speed team by putting a body on them or fouling. Never let them get their rythm or they will pick you apart. Let's hope Marinelli is enough of a force to over come that and put defenders back on their heels a bit by getting burned a couple times from being too aggressive. If so then it opens way up once they start second guessing themselves defensively and playing only reactionary defense instead of imposing.

i don't think marinelli scored i still see 1-1 on matchtracker. jimmy reinjured his jaw against colorado in a blatant asshole move when virtuoso went for jimmy instead of the ball. it's not smart for him to play a whole lot so take him at half and give the rookie some time for when we'll really need him (ie gold cup copa america)

I know it's not your team, but any idea why Colorado put Ihemelu in the game for Kirovski? Playing for a draw at home?

i'd be willing to bet that, or maybe colorado is having issues with marinelli and johnson. peterson came on to boost the attack i'm guessing, being a forward and all. maybe they're feelin the heat

They took out Cooke? That's kind of a strange move. Especially so near the end. Unless he was injured? It's just on matchtracker, I can't tell.

Maybe MatchTracker realizes no one can see the game, so they're entering a few joke subs.

"Hey, let's tell 'em five players were red-carded at once!"

I think they do this. I was following the matchtracker for a Dallas game one time and it said that Carlos Ruiz passed the ball. We know that's not right.

That would be cool. :D

(Suddenly, KC leads 4-1, as EJ gets a hat trick in less than 2 minutes. OH YEAH! :D )
