LOL the highlight of the night for me had to be Mark telling that curly haired punk that if he came through on him with a tackle again he was going to punch him right in the mouth.

Friggin' classic...had me in stitches. :D

No denying it, I was within 10 ft. and saw the kid shivering in his boots.

    BUSTED! :D

I didn't expect to be in town this weekend, but it looks like I will be - so, I'm in if others are . . .

Actually, I may not be able to play on Saturday. We're doing Christmas with my family then and then leaving for wife's family Christmas on Sunday.

Seeing as the weather is looking bad for the weekend, how about futsal? I've never played it before, but it could be fun, and it should be pretty easy to find a basketball court or other indoor space.

Yeah - the weather has not cooperated the last several weekends - I am up for indoor if enough folks are in town and want to get together and of course we can find a space.

If you guys want to play futsal, I have a futsal ball and the goals. This weekend and the next are out, though. Going out of town.

Given the weekend weather over the last month, Sunday or Saturday indoors sounds good - are there any facilities available for weekend pick-up games?

You could probably get a field at 10 or 11PM. It seems the practice fields at indoor facilities are booked solid by youth teams from November to April.

well if you know of anyone that can get you into a high school to play futsal on the gym floor you can do that. Or the Roeland Park dome would work too.

Thanks for the heads up on the Roeland Park Dome - I found the Tomahawk Sports Dome as well. I plan on making some calls in the next day or so. The Tomahawk rents for 35 an hour for JoCo residents and 39 for non-JoCo residents. Is there enough interest to rent at one of these two places?

Just wondering where a good place to play would be for a 34 year old out of shape guy with very little experience. I never had an oppurtunity to play in HS but have followed the game for the past 10 years or so. Anyone know of a good place feel free to shoot me an email. mgrich00@yahoo.com

Hey - it maybe colder than hell out today - but by Sunday, the temps will be in the 60's. If that weather line holds and the snow has melted a bit, anyone up for a Sunday afternoon game? 2ish?

Current forecast has a low of 44 and a high of 60. BTW the record high is 64 as the average high for this time of year is 38. This may be our one golden window to get and run (mud) for the next 6 weeks or so. I'm game for something....

So are we at 5 for the moment?

Stu, Pez, Kopite, Rovert, Spoon, Cyclones, Szazzy, Goalieo, W'Charter, Ben, Kuhn, and anyone I left off... you guys game?

I'm out Andy, still recovering from ACL surgery. Want to get more strength in my knee before I come back out this time. After the last surgery around this time was when I ended up retearing it...

If it is in the afternoon I can do it. Sunday morning is out for me this weekend.

So depending on time/location I am in.
