For those of you sad to see Katie Barnes get waived. Good news. She was picked up by San Jose. Another reason now for me to be a Rays fan. K~
I really know nothing abut Barnes. Anyone care to fill me (and the other CyberRays fans) in on the specifics of the player we just picked up? Looks like things worked out well for both of our teams, ending up with each other's waived players (though Borgman was via Boston from San Jose).
That is good for her. That is good news for Katie. I liked her and thought she had some potential. Hope things go well for her in San Jose. Somebodyorother - Katie was the Courages forst pick in the 2nd round. McDermott thought a lot of her. She is a feisty player and showed some skill. Ultimately cause she is a forward she got overshadowed by prinz and fotop. She could do well for San Jose.
