Kasey Keller has a blog on the CBS sports website. The first edition was on May 4th. He updates it with a new report each Thursday. It's on the front page of the site and is a pretty good read. www.cbs.sportsline.com Soccer coverage on CBS is not as good as on other sites, but I credit them for showing an interest in one of the great sports spectacles.
Some interesting nuggets in there: "I'll keep playing as long as I can. There are a few years left on my contract with Gladbach, but I still want to be at the top of my game when I transfer to MLS." ... from the horse's mouth, he says he plans to end up in MLS. I had heard this, but never noticed a direct quote before. Hopefully he won't wait much longer. Also, he plans to finish college when his career is over. I hope he doesn't pledge a fraternity and get into trouble.
I agree- interesting that he's stating it as a fact that he'll finish up in MLS, not a possibility. If he's 36 with two years left on his contract, and he's still at world cup/bundesliga level, i'll take that any day of the week.
